My hands are tied.
I can’t do it for anyone else.
You can’t do it for anyone else.
For JESUS stands at the door and knocks.
Who knocks?
Someone who wants to be invited in.
If JESUS would break down your door
and force HIMSELF into your home,
would you want to receive HIM?
But JESUS waits..
And HE waits.
And HE waits.
Your CHOICE. My CHOICE.
The FREEDOM TO CHOOSE.
I opened the door.
And I invited HIM in.
Could it be because HE never left and was waiting for me?
And now JESUS who is in me
is bigger than he who is in the world.
The best CHOICE I ever made
that UNLEASHED me into a world that I never BELIEVED was for me~
"So if the SON sets you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).
Oh when JESUS sits with you, when no one else will.
Oh when HE FORGIVES you, when others hold a grudge.
Oh when HE ACCEPTS you, when you are rejected.
Oh when HE LOVES you, just because that is who HE is.
The best RSVP is YES to JESUS.
But oh at times it isn't such a cake walk.
When weariness sets in, and you are clinging to HIM with all you have .
When you continually pray for the same thing, and you haven't heard back from HIMm yet.
When your neck starts to hurt, because you are turning the other cheek.
Oh at times I had wanted to surrender and throw the towel in,
when I am persecuted for inviting JESUS into my life,
even though HE calls me BLESSED when I am.
And then I remember I am the one who made the CHOICE to invite JESUS into my life.
I opened the door to the ONE who CHOSE to knock on my door.
A CHOICE that I can UN~Choose at any moment.
For GOD is so GRACIOUS
that HE has an OPEN door policy.
You can come and go as you please.
Maybe that is why Eve ate the apple.
Her CHOICE. Not GOD'S CHOICE for her.
Following JESUS is a CHOICE.
My CHOICE. Your CHOICE.
A CHOICE that is so personal that
we can't make that CHOICE for anyone else.
KNOCK KNOCK.
WHO'S THERE?
JESUS.
JESUS WHO?
"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in ME will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in ME will never die
Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26)
The CHOICE to BELIEVE
and answer HIS KNOCK
because
