What if I never came? 

What if you never came? 

The moment you saw the arms reaching out ~

ready to give you that embrace that you so craved

because 

no one else had arms like that &

no one else had those inviting eyes~

because of that inviting heart

that never gave up on you

because 

HE just said the words~

"COME TO ME"

And you wonder

is HE  talking to me

and does HE really mean it?

Does HE want me to

COME~

because if HE only knew 

what I did & what I am doing & 

what I am feeling

would HE still ask me? 

And you hear the word that again~

"COME"

and 

bring your 

shame & guilt & burdens & fears & doubt. 

And you wonder

Is HE talking to me? 

And then you hear the word again,

yet more words are added that pierce your heart

because now you know that HE really knows you~

"COME to ME all who are WEARY..."

and then you hear the next word

 "and BURDENED..." .

Tears fill your eyes

because 

HE is talking to you & I.

No questions asked.

No you better clean up your act before you COME. 

Just simply 

"COME to ME all who are WEARY & BURDENED"

and then you hear more words

because HE doesn't give up on

you

and HE has so much more to give you~

"And I WILL give you REST" 

Is HE for real? 

Is HE talking to me? 

Yes & Yes

and 

HE never gives up

as HIS arms never tire

even when they were nailed to a CROSS

as they were always opened 

to one and to all

to the good and the bad

and they still remain opened 

because HE never tires 

and will say it again and again

"COME to ME all who are WEARY & BURDENED and I WILL give you REST"

(Matthew 11:28)

And I came. And you came.

Or you are thinking about COMING.

And if you do

HE does what HE says HE will do

the moment you COME as

HIS arms wrap around you and HE never lets go. 

Therefore~

COME to the CROSS

& bring your WEARY & BURDENED Heart

so 

JESUS WILL 

take you from 

RAGS and clothe you with HIS RICHES

so that you become 

UNLEASHED 

from all that makes you

WEARY & BURDENED.
