Day 8: Forever Home

She is a woman of great strength

and you wonder how could she be

as she had experienced such grief & loss

in her life,

yet she kept going.

She told me.

And it sent shivers down my spine

because we had something in common

that would keep us together forever into eternity~

Her LORD & SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST,

who she is now with

as she just left this earth.

My sweet aunt

married to my dad's twin

mother

grandmother

great grandmother

and

a snow white to so many animals.

As I think of her

all I see is her smile

and her bright heart

that was always filled with a

supernatural JOY

that could never be produced

on her own.

That JOY

that lit up a room

without her even saying a word.

That PEACE

that transcends all understanding.

That LOVE

that embraced everyone

because that is who she is.

I cherish the memory

of our GOD conversations

that connected us forever.

So Aunt Darlene

thank you for your heart

thank you for beaming the Light of JESUS

for whom is your LORD & SAVIOR.

May you all hold to the TRUTH

as you continue your journey

through this life

and

PUT JESUS IN YOUR STORY

because

HE has a place for you in HIS STORY

just as HE promised~

“Do not let your heart be troubled (afraid, cowardly).

Believe [confidently] in GOD and trust in HIM, [have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and] believe also in ME.

In MY FATHER'S house are many dwelling places.

If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to MYSELF, so that where I am you may be also.

And [to the place] where I am going, you know the way.”

Thomas said to HIM, “LORD, we do not know where

YOU are going; so how can we know the way?”

JESUS said to him,

“I am the [only] Way [to GOD] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life;

no one comes to the FATHER but through ME" (John 14:1-6).

Therefore,

keep the FAITH

just like my aunt

for we are

"ALMOST HOME" (listen to the song below)
