I FORGOT WHOSE I was.
At times I feel INVISIBLE.
Sometimes a GOOD INVISIBLE,
when I am in my own little world
with my GOD and having a one on one.
INVISIBLE TO THE WORLD, BUT VISIBLE TO GOD
And at other times I feel INVISIBLE,
when I can be in a crowded room
and feel as if I am adding no value
because I feel as if I have no purpose.
No ROLE to define me.
No high powered job title.
Just little 'ole me, who shows up where I am to be.
I don't like that kind of INVISIBLE,
because I make it about me
and then I start seeking to find who I am in this world.
When actually, at times like that,
I FORGET WHOSE I AM.
INVISIBLE TO THE WORLD, BUT VISIBLE TO GOD
But then I can hear GOD'S soft whisper,
"LOOK UP".
I am GOD'S little girl.
The same words HE whispers to you,
"LOOK UP".
You are GOD'S little girl or GOD'S little boy.
And then INVISIBLE
becomes the sweet spot of
WHOSE you are.
LOST in the world, but FOUND by the CREATOR of the world.
FATHER of ALL~
"How blessed is GOD! And what a blessing HE is
HE'S the FATHER of our MASTER, JESUS CHRIST,
and takes us to the high places of blessing in HIM.
Long before HE laid down earth’s foundations,
HE had us in mind,
had settled on us as the focus of HIS love,
to be made whole and holy by HIS love..."*
INVISIBLE TO THE WORLD, BUT VISIBLE TO GOD
"Long, long ago HE decided to adopt us into HIS family
through JESUS CHRIST.
(What pleasure HE took in planning this!)
HE wanted us to enter into the celebration of HIS lavish gift-giving
by the hand of HIS beloved SON"
*(Ephesians 1: 3-6 MSG).
After reading this,
the eyes of my heart were enlarged,
reminding me that
I FORGET WHOSE I WAS!
And this happened in the place where
Paul wrote these verses, in Rome.
Now he was in
a Roman prison when he penned these words
to the Ephesians.
And there I sat, in Rome,
imprisoned by my own thoughts
about who I thought I was~
INVISIBLE.
Paul was so full of the JOY OF THE LORD
in his imprisonment,
that he was actually free as a bird.
It didn’t matter that he was behind locked doors,
for his heart wasn’t locked to the love of JESUS CHRIST.
What a wake up call to this woman, and maybe to you,
who are not in prison, but live as we are,
when we forget WHOSE we are!
In that moment, GOD woke up my soul.
The prison doors are OPENED.
So why not
LIVE IN THE NOW
as HIS!
And all we have to do is~
"Be up and awake to what GOD s doing! GOD is putting the finishing touches on the salvation work HE began when we first believed. We can’t afford to waste a minute, must not squander these precious daylight hours in frivolity and indulgence, in sleeping around and dissipation, in bickering and grabbing everything in sight. Get out of bed and get dressed! Don’t loiter and linger, waiting until the very last minute.
Dress yourselves in CHRIST, and be up and about!"
(Romans 13:14).
Because
NOW is
"DAY ONE of the rest of my life"
