Oh the pressure we carry
that we put on ourselves
that pushes us
to a place of
looking for MORE
from people, places, and things~
the nouns of life~
that tells us that we
are good enough.
Oh when we are
LEASHED to
our own pride
CHASING someone or something
to remind us that we exist.
The funny thing is that when we are
CHASING the nouns of life
GOD is CHASING us
with a LOVE
that when it lasso's you
it captures you like no other person, place or thing could ever do.
What person, place or thing do you CHASE when you are looking for more
JOY
PEACE
HOPE
&
LOVE?
What if
JOY
PEACE
HOPE
&
LOVE
didn't need to be CHASED
because it was CHASING you?
Look to the right. Look to the left.
Look down. Look up.
Do you see the eyes of the ONE who is
to the right
to the left
and all around you?
So why stay LEASHED to the things of this world
when there is a bigger world
beyond this world
that is our
REAL HOME
with our
REAL FATHER
who
LOVES REAL
with no questions asked.
Because
HIS LOVE goes beyond just words
because HIS LOVE is everlasting
and when HE lassos you
you are HIS FOREVER~
"And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of MY hand" (John 10:28)
