HE sees you.

HE feels you.

HE stands there with open arms.

You know you are supposed to

"COME'

because you are starting to

feel

WEARY~

"to tire

to exhaust

or

to get tired

through overuse or great strain or stress" (Logos).

The words "through overuse"

strike you~

as isn't just the hearing of the word

Covid-19

making you

WEARY

as it isn't just a word

as it is a truth

that is touching everyone

in all different shapes and forms

from

the WEARINESS of social distancing

to the WEARINESS of the uncertainty

to the WEARINESS that this is taking lives.

HE sees you.

HE feels you.

HE stands there with open arms

repeating the same word

"COME".

And then you hear

"all who are WEARY"~

And that is you & me & everyone else.

HE sees you.

HE feels you.

HE stands there with open arms

And looks right into your eyes

because HE has so much for

you & me & everyone else~

"and I will give you rest".

Is REST going to change our circumstances?

Is REST going to get rid of this infectious intruder?

Is REST going to heal the sick?

But you decide to

"COME"

because you are so WEARY

and there is nothing else that you can do

because you are not in control.

You take a step of FAITH

and then it happens

HE is really there.

HE really embraces you.

HE really gives you something that you have been craving

that is all wrapped up

in HIS REST~

"for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find REST for your souls"

Because

"For MY yoke is easy and MY burden is light”(Matthew 11:28-30).

HE takes your fears.

HE takes your worries.

HE takes you anxieties.

Because HE takes you beyond what you see & feel

to a place of REST~

HIS REST~

"restful relief, a ceasing from activity

that results in a feeling of refreshing tranquility and an absence of tension or worry" (Logos)~

In the midst of the WEARINESS that is surrounding all of us.

Oh the PRESENCE of HIS REST~

"The LORD replied, “MY Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest” (Exodus 33:14)

All because

HE sees you. HE feels you. HE stands there with open arms that never tire

because

our WEARINESS & BURDENS

are never too heavy for

JESUS who

sees you & feels you &

CARRIES you & all your burdens on

HIS "SHOULDERS" (listen to the song below)

Thank you, Joni, for your inspirational words of the Holy Spirit. Resting in Him in this weary time is a challenge but oh so necessary. May we all seek to find rest as we lean hard on His promises. Let us have great expectation & hope that our God will do mighty things!!!
