As I have been preparing for the UNLEASHED conference,
I have been with me, myself, & I for way too long.
I think I am way too familiar with myself,
as nothing gets passed me
because GOD won't allow it.
TRY IT!
Spend time with GOD
and HE will spend the time with you.
You will get to know yourself oh so well
because GOD won't let you stay the same,
as HE knows each one of us so personally
that HE wants so much more for each one us
that you have no choice but to be CHANGED
after you spend time with HIM.
TRY IT!
Look up all the verses on FORGIVENESS
and you will start to FORGIVE as the LORD has FORGIVEN you.
Look up all the verses on FAVOR
and you will start to see yourself as GOD sees you IN CHRIST.
Look up all the verses on FEAR
and you will get so sick and tired of FEAR that you
embrace HIS PERFECT LOVE that drives out FEAR.
Look up the verses on whatever you are struggling with.
TRY IT!
Look up ANXIETY
and you will read
"Do not be anxious about anything"*
And then you will chuckle as you think "easier said than done".
But then you keep reading
"In all situations"*
So does GOD mean ALL?
Yup.
Easier said than done.
But then you keep reading.
"by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to GOD"*
Hmm.
So basically tell GOD what is on your heart
and THANK HIM.
Thank HIM for what you are ANXIOUS about?
Oh no.
Tell GOD what you are ANXIOUS about
and THANK HIM because HE is GOD and you are not.
TRY IT!
But then you keep reading as you get a wee bit more ANXIOUS
because you don't BELIEVE that GOD will take away the ANXIETY or even answer your prayer in the way you want your prayer to be answered.
And then it all makes sense. Glorious sense as you read the rest of the verse~
"And the peace of GOD, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in CHRIST JESUS" *(Philippians 4:6-8)
THE PEACE OF GOD is the answer to all your prayers.
Easier said then done?
TRY IT!
"Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing.
Be saturated in prayer throughout each day,
offering your faith-filled requests before GOD with overflowing gratitude.
Tell HIM every detail of your life, then GOD'S wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will guard your heart and mind through JESUS.
Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always"(Philippians 4:6-8 TPT)
Hmm.
Easier said than done
or
easier when it is done.
TRY IT!
Read HIS WORD.
Spend time with GOD
and HE WILL spend time with you.
