I love dandelions.
I love how they stand out among the green grass.
But dandelions are a weed.
I love when the dandelion is dead
as it because a child's favorite toy
as I was reminded when I picked one for my grandchildren
and showed them how it is done.
One breath is all it takes
as the Puffball flies through the air
taking your wishes and wants
the moment you puff and blow it
as the seedlings go flying through the air.
A child's laughter, yet a gardeners worse nightmare
as the seeds will be planted to produce more dandelions,
continuing the cycle.
This makes me think of the
GRACE OF GOD.
As GRACE is defined as
"Goodwill freely disseminated (by GOD);
especially to the benefit of the recipient
regardless of the benefit accrued to the disseminator".
Oh big words.
Disseminate: to spread.
To FLY through the air.
Stay with me here.
GRACE is spread by the spreader who expects nothing in return but you!
The you who has died to self
the moment you become
HIS
and RECEIVE HIS UNDESERVED
Gift of GRACE
that is filled with
FORGIVENESS
&
FAVOR
&
FREEDOM
that
UNLEASHES you to
LIVE FREE
with the giggles of a child.
Legend has it that, when you blow all the seeds off a dandelion,
then the person you love will love you back.
Hmm. Sounds like GRACE.
Oh the dead dandelion is alive and well
the moment
the child
picks it up
and makes a wish
and then exhales with a
big puff
that
sends it through the air like bubbles ,
leaving behind
the giggles
the laughter
the FREEDOM
to
LIVE and enjoy
that moment.
And that my friend is what it is like
when
HIS GRACE
comes flying through the air
and lands on
little 'ole me
and
little 'ole you
with no questions asked.
Not deserved. Just given.
GRACE,
Breathe it all in~
"For it is by grace [GOD'S remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to CHRIST that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of GOD; not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation]"
(Ephesians 2:8-9 AMP)
Because that is
"WHAT MERCY DID FOR ME" (listen to the song below)
