Be Always READY,
for HE is NEVER LATE.
You hear it loud and clear.
KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK.
The introduction
that there is someone at your door.
You first make sure you are dressed appropriately.
You then took a quick look around your home to make sure
it is a wee better than messy.
You slowly go towards the
DOOR.Â
But then you lookthrough the window panes
to see WHOÂ it is.
Your HEART starts thumping,
because you KNOW that you are not ready to
RECEIVE THISÂ visitor.
It is JESUS!Â
You KNOW JESUSÂ doesn't care what clothes you are wearing.
You KNOW that JESUS doesn't care if your home is a mess.
Bur you KNOW that HE KNOWS your HEART,
and that is why your HEARTÂ is thumping.
Because you KNOWÂ what is on your HEART,
and so you BELIEVE that it you are not PERFECT enough to
 RECEIVE JESUS.
For you KNOW too much about yourself,
as you are remembering that
you haven't
FORGIVENÂ that one person,
and that you
 gossiped about and judged other,
and that
you are not treating your body as a temple,
and that
you are ANXIOUSÂ about EVERYTHING
because you haven't been praying about EVERYTHING ,
and
you haven't CAST ALL your cares to JESUS.
Oh the list goes on and on,
but so does the
KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK,
even though JESUS KNOWSÂ what is on your HEART.
But that is why
HE IS HERE.
What do you do?
Do you leave JESUSÂ behind the closed door
UNTIL you get yourself
PERFECT ENOUGH
to RECEIVE HIM?
Hmm.
But JESUS IS THE DOOR.
And HE stands there and KNOCKS
to be with
PERFECTLY IMPERFECTÂ you.
KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK.
Have you OPENED THE DOORÂ in the past,
INVITING HIMÂ into your HEART,
yet in this moment you are INVITING SELF CONDEMNATION
to overtake your HEART,
as you FORGET who you are IN JESUS.
"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in CHRIST JESUS"
(Romans 8:1).
 Read that again.
"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in CHRIST JESUS"
Have you been thinking about
 OPENING THE DOOR,
yet FEAR is keeping the DOORÂ locked
as you think that you will have to give up
too much of what you love,
as you can't picture what your life would be
without doing what you love to do,
yet it is destroying you.
And THE FEARÂ of taking off the masks you wear
that hide the REALÂ you,
in FEARÂ that you would be REJECTED
if others saw the REAL you?
And THE FEARÂ that the secrets you keep,
which are eating you up alive,
yet you would rather hide than face the pain of facing yourself?
Oh when the WOUNDS of your HEART start KNOCKING,
that come dressed in FEAR.
BUTÂ there is another
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK.
JESUS IS NOT LEAVING,
for HE has come to give you ALL that you NEEDÂ
and to RECEIVE all that you NEED to give HIM
so that you can
 REALLY LIVE FREE
of
CONDEMNATION
and
PERFECTION
and
FEAR of REJECTION.
For
who takes the time to
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK,
when HEÂ can be somewhere else,
yet HEÂ is CHOOSINGÂ to be with you
as HEÂ stands at the DOOR OF YOUR HEART
INVITING you to
COME AS YOU ARE
so that you
can become so much
MORE.
For it is JESUS.
JESUS
who
KNOCKS
just because
HE wants to be in your LIFE
so you can have LIVE REAL LIFE.
KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK.
JESUS IS CHOOSING you
in this very moment
to spend time with you.
Quite Simple.
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with ME"
(Revelation 3:20).
Just don't
OPEN THE DOOR
but keep it wide OPEN,
because once you let JESUS IN
you don't want to
LIVE WITHOUT HIM
and
HEÂ doesn't want to
LIVE WITHOUT YOU
&
LIVE WITHOUT ME
&
LIVE WITHOUT EVERYONE ELSE.
KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK.
Because
"Everyone's invited to sit at the table.Don't matter if you're feeling fit or unfaithful,'Cause even when you're guiltyOur GOD is ableTo love youOn and on and on and onAll your life"*
OPEN THE DOOR
because you are
*"INVITED"
(listen to the song below)
