Day 13: God Is Still God

WHO IS GOD

when things are going great?

STILL GOD!

WHO IS GOD

when things are going not so great?

STILL GOD!

Such sadness.

Such grief.

Fills the earth right NOW.

But

such sadness.

But

such grief

has always filled the earth.

Read the Old Testament.

Has anything really changed since Old Testament times?

Oh yes.

The FULFILLMENT OF GOD'S PROMISE made in the Old Testament~

"For to us a CHILD is born, to us a SON is given, and the government will be on HIS shoulders. And HE will be called WONDERFUL COUNSELOR,

MIGHTY GOD,

EVERLASTING FATHER,

PRINCE OF PEACE... The zeal of the LORD ALMIGHTY will accomplish this" (Isaiah 9 6-7).

Fast Forward to the NEW TESTAMENT~

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a SAVIOR,

who is ChRIST THE LORD.

And this will be a sign for you:

you will find A BABY wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger"

(Luke 2:11-12).

But did GOD stop there.

Oh no.

Because GOD IS STILL GOD

because

not so great things will continue to happen

as long as we await for

THE FINAL FULFILLMENT OF HIS PROMISE~

"HE will swallow up death forever; and

the LORD GOD

will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of HIS people

HE will take away from all the earth,

for the LORD has spoken" (Isaiah 25:8).

Is GOD STILL TRUE TO HIS WORD?

Oh yes, because

GOD IS STILL GOD

and GOD ALWAYS KEEPS HIS PROMISES~

"HE will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more,

neither shall there be mourning, nor crying,

nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away” (Revelation 21:4).

So if GOD IS STILL GOD

in good times and in not so good times,

what are you to do in the NOW?

Be

WRAPPED IN HIS PROMISES*

that are

WRAPPED IN HIS PROMISE*

that was made in the old testament,

but came

WRAPPED IN A BABY,

who came from RICHES to be be swaddled

in RAGS

so the HE would

WRAP HIS RICHES on you.

And why?

Because

"GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD,

that

HE gave

HIS ONE & ONLY SON,

that whoever

believes IN HIM

shall not perish

but

have eternal life"

(John 3:16).

So what is GOD doing with all the not so good happenings in this world?

HE already DID something.

And HIS NAME IS JESUS.

Become

WRAPPED IN JESUS

and you will

RECEIVE

THE REAL HOPE

THE REAL PEACE

THE REAL JOY

&

THE REAL LOVE

of

GOD,
