Days melting into each other,
as they become one of the same.
I thought today was Monday, but did it really matter?
Does KNOWING what day it is have the power to change who we are?
You are still YOU on a Monday, even though you may be working.
You are still YOU on a Tuesday, even though you are glad it isn't Monday.
You are still YOU on a Wednesday, even though you are halfway through the week.
You are still YOU on a Thursday, even though you are excited tomorrow is Friday.
You are still YOU on a Friday, even though it is TGIF.
You are still YOU on a Saturday, even though it is the weekend.
You are still YOU on a Sunday, even though tomorrow is Monday.
Therefore,
WHO ARE YOU,
during this time when all the days are melting into each other
becoming one of the same?
I am ________(your name).
BUT
Who are YOU?
I am _______ (what you are feeling)
BUT
Who are YOU?
I am ________ (your role....mother, father, teacher, doctor.....)
BUT
WHO ARE YOU....really~
More than your name~
"BUT as many as received HIM,
to them HE gave the right to become children of GOD,
to those who believe in HIS name" (John 1:12)
BUT who are YOU?
More than your feelings~
"BUT even if we don't feel at ease,
GOD is greater than our feelings, and HE knows everything" (I John 3:20)
BUT who are YOU?
More than your role~
"...BUT GOD’S child; and since you are HIS child, GOD has made you also an heir" (Galatians 4:7)
Who are YOU every day of the week~
YOU are HIS
no matter what day you think it is
because GOD never forgets WHOSE YOU ARE
and that changes every day into the best day
because the ONE who matters says YOU matter and that is all that matters.
Therefore,
let's absorb right this moment,
no matter what day you think it is,
"WHO YOU SAY I AM" (listen to the song below)~
