You work hard & you do you best,
because that is what you do.
You don't do it for the attention
or to get the pat on the back.
But then when you never hear the words
GOOD JOB
you start to question yourself
if you are doing a
GOOD JOB,
even though you are working hard and doing your best.
But what if maybe you aren't
working hard enough
or doing your best enough?
As I look back over my life
I was striving to hear the words
GOOD JOB,
but obviously I didn't strive hard enough
because those words were never heard.
So maybe if I
strive for PERFECTION
and if I did everything
PERFECT enough
then maybe just maybe I would hear the words
GOOD JOB.
Striving for PERFECTION leaves you more IMPERFECT
because PERFECTION can never be attained.
What I was really seeking was to hear the words through actions~
I SEE you.
I HEAR you.
I WANT you.
I LOVE you.
But then I realized that in my striving
SOMEONE was always there
just waiting for me to
SEE HIM
HEAR HIM
WANT HIM
LOVE HIM.
So when GOD entered the picture,
my heart heard more than just the words
GOOD JOB
because
I was SEEN and WANTED
because
I was LOVED so deeply,
that it was so incomprehensible.
Only GOD
because
no human being can
SEE us completely
HEAR us completely
WANT us completely
&
LOVE us completely.
So when I feel or you feel as if we are being
unsubscribed
ignored
or
rejected
because
we feel
UNSEEN
UNHEARD
UNWANTED
UNLOVED
we are just feeling our human selves
because
we can't put that expectation on any human
to SEE
to HEAR
to WANT
to LOVE
us completely
because that is a condition that can't be met.
That why
GOD calls it
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE~
SEEING
HEARING
WANTING
LOVING
you & I & everyone else
always~
just because that is who
GOD is.
