Are you getting tired of TRUSTING?
Are you getting tired of HOPING?
Are you getting tired of being tired of BELIEVING?
Oh the STRENGTH OF TRUST.
Oh the STRENGTH OF HOPE.
Oh the STRENGTH OF FAITH
that takes us deeper into our relationship with the one
WHO is our TRUST~
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart & lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5)
WHO is our HOPE~ "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess,
for HE who promised is faithful" (Hebrews 10:23)
WHO is our FAITH~
"And without faith it is impossible to please GOD, because anyone who comes to HIM must believe that HE exists & that HE rewards those who earnestly seek HIM" (Hebrews 11:6)..
Oh the STRENGTH that it takes sometimes
TO TRUST
TO HOPE &
TO BELIEVE
As Paul said it best~
"But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind
and straining toward what is ahead I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which GOD has called me heavenward in CHRIST JESUS" (Philippians 3:13-14).
Oh the STRENGTH it takes
To PRESS FORWARD~
To STRAIN
or
To STRETCH OUT~
"to exert effort or energy to the utmost" (Logos, Bible Sense Lexicon)
Oh the STRENGTH it takes TO PRESS~
TO PURSUE.
Oh the STRENGTH it takes to
leave behind Doubt, Hopelessness and Fear
when it appears that nothing is changing
as the only way through is
TO TRUST
TO HOPE
TO BELIEVE.
Oh how weariness sets in
as another morning comes and our only choice is to choose to
TRUST & HOPE & BELIEVE
in HIM who is our STRENGTH
because I can't & you can't
do anything without HIM.
I wonder when we are all released from our homes
to live as we used to
where will our
TRUST, HOPE, & BELIEF be?
Will it be as strong? Will JESUS be the first one we choose to follow?
Maybe just maybe
we haven't been that strong before~
when we were able to control our whereabouts
doing what we want to do when we want to.
And maybe just maybe
GOD is calling us each to a higher level
in this time of TRUSTING deeper
HOPING deeper &
BELIEVING deeper~
because as we continue to PRESS FORWARD in the middle of wait
with the ONE who is our STRENGTH
the wait isn't so bad
as it is making us
STRONGER in the midst of the weariness of "when will this be over"
as GOD is growing our FAITH MUSCLES
so that when we are "released"
we will be oh so different
and oh so much STRONGER
because the ONE who we are
TRUSTING IN
HOPING IN
BELIEVING IN
through this thing called "life" with all our STRENGTH
we can't life without
wherever LIFE may take us.
Oh how WEARINESS is building up in all of us,
yet as we continue to LOOK UP
we see that our STRENGTH
is not coming from us
as we PRESS FORWARD IN THE MIDDLE OF WAIT
because even when "this" is over
JESUS is never over
as
we can't stop not
TRUSTING IN
HOPING IN
&
BELIEVING IN
the ONE
Who gives us our next breath to take the next step & the next & the next...
as ~
"I, _____ (your name), can do all this through HIM who gives me, ______, strength" (Philippians 4:13)
Oh to know that we don't have to ever do this alone~
