IT comes. IT stays. IT is yours.
And you wonder
"How can this be"
as everything around us is
swirling & whirling
with no end in sight.
IT comes. IT stays. IT is yours.
And you wonder
"How can this be"
as we are getting sick & tired of
waiting.
IT comes. IIT stays. IT is yours.
And you wonder
"Is this REAL?".
And you realize IT is
because
you can't shake IT off
and you don't want IT to ever leave
because
IT comes. IT stays. IT is yours.
Oh HIS PEACE
that washes over an anxious soul as
IT "transcends all understanding"
because
HE transcends all understanding.
And you may wonder
"Why would HE?".
Because HE said HE would~
"PEACE I leave with you; MY PEACE I give you.I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (John 14:27)
Is IT that simple?
Oh yes my friend IT is, because IT is HIS PEACE
that is a gift for everyone.
But the hard part is the choice to choose
to answer JESUS PEACE invitation
in the midst of the anxious fearful moment~
"Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but
in everything [every circumstance and situation]
by prayer and petition with thanksgiving,
continue to make your [specific] requests known to GOD..."
And when you do~
 "And the peace of GOD [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace]
which transcends all understanding, [that peace which]
stands guard over your hearts and
your minds in CHRIST JESUS [is yours]" (Philippians 4:6-7 AMP)
Oh HIS Unshakeable
PEACE~
"MY PEACE. I am not creating your PEACE. I am sharing with you MY PEACE.
I am bringing you into MY PEACE" (Piper)
