Oh how in the LONELINESS OF LONELINESS
GOD does HIS best work
as I think about the Apostle John
who was exiled to the island of Patmos,
just because of his love of JESUS that he was spreading.
There he sits
in his NEW NORMAL
in
the LONELINESS OF LONELINESS
in the forced stillness in his life
when something happens that breaks the silence.
JESUS BREATHES
into his lonely still spot
and speaks the
REVELATION of TRUTH
through his angel to John.
Oh the REVELATION~
the DISCLOSURE
the APPEARING
the MANIFESTATION
of what is to come
that speaks volumes into the
LONELINESS OF LONELINESS
when no one else is around.
But JESUS
meets you in that
sweet spot
that you have been exiled to~
this forced stop
that actually is our
SAVING GRACE
because all we have
is HIS SAVING GRACE
that speaks volumes into
"such a time as this"
and more times as this
that will show up differently~
yet one as the same
as they are called
trials & tribulations
that we are told to rejoice in.
But not because we are so happy
that they invaded our lives,
but because
HE invades our life in the midst of them.
And then something happens
as we have a
REVELATION
that brings us beyond our
Emotions
&
Anxieties
&
Fears
because
HE speaks into our tender hearts
with a whisper
that penetrates through our being~
"I love you now, just as I have always loved you and will never stop
Invite ME into those broken places and spaces
so that I can fill them
with more of ME."
Oh the silence of the LONELINESS is broken
with the whisper above all whispers~
THE BREATH OF GOD
upon our souls
that whisks away all unwanted emotions
because we know
that HE is above all things
and that all HE wants us to
do is to BREATHE into us HIS WORDS
that are so alive
making us so alive
even in the midst of the
LONELINESS OF LONELINESS
when all you can see and feel
is your three persons of me, myself and I.
But then HE shows up with HIS 3 PERSONS
and oh how filled you are
as you sit
in your NEW NORMAL
just as John sat
when JESUS showed up
because JESUS always shows up
because HE never left.
Oh the Silence of the
LONELINESS OF LONELINESS
is broken.
Oh DRAW CLOSER to HIM
& BREATHE HIM IN
for
for HIS BREATH is
the "AIR THAT I BREATHE" (listen to the song below)
Revelation 1:1–2 (NIV)
1The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,
2who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.
