PERSEVERANCE~
Blood Sweat.Tears.
is what it took to live out the
biggest
PERSEVERANCE
of them all
that brought
JESUS
to HIS last Words on the cross~
"IT IS FINISHED!" (John 19:30).
Oh the words that bring music to my ears
and I bet to yours
because when "this" is all said and done
what a
Glorious Day
when
we are
FREE
in the here & now
to do
to be
all that we can do & be.
But aren't we FREE this very second
because of
HIS BLOOD SWEAT & TEARS
as we await for that
Glorious Day
when
PERSEVERANCE
will no longer be an option
because
"HE will wipe every tear from their eyes,
and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain.
All these things are gone forever” (Revelation 21:4)
But don't we meet
JESUS in the PERSEVERANCE
in the here & now
even if it feels like
Blood & Sweat & Tears
at times
because
PERSEVERANCE IN HIM
is glorious
as HIS PEACE
overwhelms us
when PEACE appears to be an impossibility
yet becomes a reality
as we continue to
PERSEVERE
which is
Patient Endurance.
BUT we don't do it alone
because that is where we meet
JESUS
who
PERSEVERED for
you & me & everyone else
because LOVE takes
BLOOD SWEAT & TEARS to a whole other level
as we can only PERSEVERE because of HIS GREAT LOVE~
"As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered.
You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the LORD finally brought about.
The LORD is full of compassion and mercy" (James 5:11)
Oh look up to the Cross
where
HE PERSEVERED
in
Blood. Sweat. Tears
that we will never have to endure~
even when it feels like
PERSEVERING
is becoming a burden
when actually it is a
Blessing IN HIM
in every moment
no matter what the moment is~
"Because of the LORD'S great love we are not consumed,
for HIS compassions never fail"*
PERSEVERANCE~
"They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness"*
PERSEVERANCE~
"I say to myself, 'The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for HIM'"*
because IN HIM it is
"The LORD is good to those whose hope is in HIM, to the one who seeks HIM;
it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD" *(Lamentations 3:22-26)

is where we will always
