More Than Enough

I have asked GOD the question~

What if I only had JESUS would HE be enough?

I know the answer,

yet I question why HE doesn't feel enough.

Is it because I am looking for everything else around me to be enough,

instead of knowing JESUS is ENOUGH?

I have been asking this question

when I know the answer to be YES,

but

I have been selling myself short

as the answer is really NO

because

JESUS is more than enough

because

HE IS EVERYTHING.

In the midst of sorrow

HE IS JOY.

In the midst of confusion

HE IS REASON.

In the midst of anxiety

HE IS PEACE.

In the midst of death

HE IS LIFE.

It really is quite simple,

yet oh how

I complicate it at times,

because

HIS being enough

in all circumstances

in all emotions

is just

who

JESUS IS

no matter how you look at it.

HE IS EVERYTHING~

Always Was & Always Will Be

Read it for yourself~

"We look at this SON & see the GOD who cannot be seen.

We look at this SON & see GOD'S original purpose in everything created.

For everything,

absolutely everything,

above & below,

visible & invisible,

rank after rank after rank of angels~

everything got started in HIM & finds its purpose in HIM

HE was there before any of it came into existence

& holds it all together right up to this moment.

And when it comes to the church,

HE organizes & holds it together,

like a head does a body.

HE was supreme in the beginning and~

leading the resurrection parade~

HE is supreme in the end.

From beginning to end HE'S there, towering far above

everything, everyone.

So spacious is HE,

so roomy, that everything of GOD

finds its proper place in HIM

without crowding.

Not only that, but all the broken & dislocated pieces of the universe—

people & things,

animal & atoms~

get properly fixed & fit together in vibrant harmonies,

all because of HIS death,

HIS blood that poured down from the cross"

(Colossians 1:17-20 MSG)

What if you only had

JESUS~

would HE be enough?

Oh No

because

HE IS

"MORE THAN ANYTHING" (listen to the song below)
