This morning has been so quiet
and I don't like it.
The silence makes me so uncomfortable
because I want to hear from GOD.
I want HIM to speak to my heart
to break this silence
as I feel nothing.
Oh how I can so easily tell you
that
GOD'S PEACE transcends all understanding
and that HIS JOY is so overwhelming that you can't contain yourself.
I can tell you that
JESUS saved my life.
I can tell you that
GOD always keeps HIS PROMISES.
Oh I BELIEVE.
I BELIVE GOD.
I BELIEVE IN HIS SON.
I BELIEVE the HOLY SPIRIT,
but in moments like this
I can't fake GOD.
I want to see the burning bush.
I want to see the Red Sea parted.
I want to see JESUS the night HE was born
and hear all the angels declaring HIS birth.
Oh I want.
But I do have
as nothing has changed
because
GOD hasn't changed.
GOD is doing what HE does best
in the way that HE does best
to get me to
sit in the emptiness of the silence
to know that
GOD doesn't have to perform for me
to prove that HE is with me
to prove that HE is oh so real
just like JESUS is oh so real
&
just like THE HOLY SPIRIT is oh so real,
even in this moment that
is so real
that I may not be
feeling or seeing
GOD
but maybe just maybe
HE is just simply
whispering to my heart
in the silent stillness
HIS WORDS~
"Be still & know that I am GOD" (Psalm 46:10)
because
it doesn't matter if I can feel or hear or see
GOD
HE is
