You are walking along a beautiful path,
taking in the scenery
with all your senses.
You HEAR the birds chirping.
You SMELL the flowers.
You can TASTE the fresh air as you breath it in.
You SEE the sun shining in the blue sky.
You TOUCH the hand of the one who is walking with you.
Everything is just PERFECT.
Oh what a BEAUTIFUL day it is going to be.
And then you trip over a rock that you didn’t
HEAR, SMELL, TASTE, TOUCH, or SEE.
BOOM!
You smash your knees on the ground.
You stand up with bruised knees
and now a bruised spirit.
Oh what a NON~BEAUTIFUL day it is going to be.
Have you been there?
One minute everything is going your way
and then in a second everything is not going your way
because of one thing that happened
that ruffles all your SENSES.
But where is GOD.
Has HE changed?
Oh this happens to me all the time,
as I can be singing the praises of my GOD
and then in the next moment not singing
the praises of my GOD
because I have lost my SENSES.
For it is in those times when I forget that I have
HIS PEACE
HIS JOY
HIS LOVE
&
HIS HOPE
ALL the time,
whether I am skipping down a flower lined path
or trip over a rock
because
GOD gave us all our
SENSES
to
EXPERIENCE HIM!
HE gave us
EYES to SEE
EARS to HEAR
A Nose to SMELL
Hands to TOUCH
A tongue to TASTE
And a HEART to RECEIVE
all HIS SENSES~
"Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good!
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in HIM!" (Psalm 34:8)
To TASTE~
to find out,
to determine,
to seek out.
To SEE~
"to experience something,
conceived of as being present
during the experience so as to view it" (Bible Sense Lexicon)
Read that again~

Oh to SEE GOD in ALL things.
Oh to SEE HIS GOODNESS in ALL things,
because to SEE GOD is to
EXPERIENCE GOD
and because
GOD IS GOOD ,
then to
SEE GOD
is to
experience
HIS GOOD.
Therefore,
when LIFE
doesn’t make
SENSE
go to the ONE who gave you
ALL your SENSES
to
TASTE AND SEE that the HE IS GOOD
by
TRUSTING GOD
by
LOVING GOD
by
SEEKING GOD,
which begins with
SEEING GOD
by
FIXING your eyes on
JESUS
who uses ALL of HIS SENSES
to
HEAR YOU
to
SEE YOU
to
TOUCH YOU~
"Because of CHRIST
we (you) give off a sweet scent rising to GOD,
which is recognized by those on the way of salvation~
an aroma redolent with life"
(2 Corinthians 2:15).

BEAUTIFUL day~
