What if instead of making a
RESOLUTION~
I LOVED GOD with ALL my HEART?
Would I let go of the burdens that are laying heavy on my HEART? Would I "Cast all of my anxiety on HIM because HE cares for me" (I Peter 5:7)? What if I LOVED GOD with ALL my SOUL?
Would I take care of this temple where my SOUL lives?
Would I not put any unwholesome foods in my temple?
Would I move my body temple in a way that brings
vigor and strength and stamina to my SOUL? What if I LOVED GOD with ALL my MIND? Would I "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ"? (2 Corinthians 10:5)~
All the negative, all the lies, all the unwholesome words
that fill my mind about myself and about others?
What if I made
RESOLUTIONS
to eat better
to exercise daily
to obey in all things~
would I be motivated to stay the course?
Maybe for a milli second
as I fail over &over again when I try to
LOVE myself with my whole HEART, SOUL, and MIND. But what if I & what if you
LOVED THE LORD GOD with
ALL our HEART and with
ALL our SOUL and with
ALL our MIND~
Would we then be LOVING ourselves as HE LOVES us? Oh THANK YOU GOD that
JESUS is MORE THAN A RESOLUTION
as HE is a RELATIONSHIP
that begins with being
STILL IN YOU
which is
LOVING YOU
with our
ALL
so that
JESUS will take us places where we are in awe and living as one who is
LOVED by the LOVER of our SOUL
because of the
"GOODNESS OF GOD" (listen to the song below)
that never changes but changes us.
