Now I know why it is called
UNCONDITIONAL~
not based on CONDITIONS~
because GOD isn't a CONDITION.
HE IS LOVE.
HE is so overly generous
that at times I miss it because I am not still enough.
HE gives PEACE that fills a room
so everyone is experiencing it at the same time.
And all it takes is
for JESUS to be the main guest.
So simple that you think you have to complicate it.
Yesterday, my living room was filled with women~
women I knew and women who I just met for the first time,
yet feels like I have known them my whole life.
JOY filled the room
because everyone's heart was filled with JOY.
Oh there was laughter and there were also tears
as stories were shared,
yet healing tears because there was a GOD story trickling in each one
as HIS HOPE filled the room
because HIS HOPE was in everyone's heart.
It was an outer body experience
as
GOD orchestrated a morning
to gather women together
who had SOMEONE in common,
so they just SHOWED UP
to be with that
SOMEONE
who always SHOWS UP.
So maybe
UNCONDITIONAL is really CONDITIONAL
"And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of HIS return is drawing near" (Hebrews 10:25)
Does that mean that GOD isn't present when we are alone?
Oh we know the answer to that.
But when you join
TOGETHER IN HIM
you get to experience
HIM TOGETHER.
Oh sisters & brothers IN CHRIST
continue to encourage each other IN HIM
&
continue to show up and talk about HIM
together~
"For where two or three are gathered in MY name [meeting together as MY followers],
I am there among them" (Mark 18:20)
I guess you could say
there was a CONDITION
and that CONDITION
was the SOMEONES~
GOD & JESUS & THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Oh if THEY aren't present then there is no story.
If THEY weren't present yesterday
nothing could have produced the
PEACE that transcends all understanding
because of
the unspeakable JOY
that was indescribable.
Oh how
GOD loves the attention,
just as JESUS craves to be invited to the party,
so THE HOLY SPIRIT
just starts jumping up and down with JOY
that fills every person in the room.
UNCONDITIONAL CONDITION~
it all starts with one,
each one of us
to first SHOW UP at the CROSS
and look up to JESUS
who is so very personal
that HE calls us HIS OWN
the moment we release all our CONDITIONAL reasons why
we don't deserve
HIS LOVE
that is lathered with
GRACE
for one and all
in every moment.
For
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
just drips from the cross for all who COME~
“For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only SON, that whoever believes
in HIM should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16)
Maybe you have COME,
and are just sitting waiting & waiting & waiting.
Maybe you have COME and you are wondering
does HE see me
does HE hear me
does HE really love me.
Maybe you don't want to COME
because you wonder if
HE will receive you
because you know yourself way too well,
and if HE knew you like you knew you
HE wouldn't receive you.
But maybe just maybe
it isn't about what we may feel in the moment
because
HE always feels the same about us
or HE wouldn't have got on the CROSS.
Oh just SHOW UP!
BE STILL with HIM
because
HE is your personal GOD
who has so much to give you
that is beyond your wildest dreams.
Oh read HIS WORD
as your heart is a sponge just waiting to absorb
HIS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
that drips from the pages.
So thank you to all who
SHOWED UP
yesterday as you came
because
GOD invited you
and you responded
because
HE was ready to party
because
HIS SON was the main guest
because
"The LORD your GOD is with you; HE is mighty to save. HE will take great delight in you, HE will quiet you with HIS love, HE will rejoice over you with singing” (Zephaniah 3:17).
So let's dance & sing & praise HIM
and live IN HIM
because that is
"THE WAY WE WERE MADE" (listen to the song below)
