You RECEIVE the answer to a PRAYER
with the answer that you PRAYED for.
You now have a greater HOPE in GOD,
because you RECEIVED exactly what you wanted.
You are experiencing a
GREATER PEACE
that
transcends all understanding.
It is as if you have seen
THE RESURRECTED JESUS
standing before your eyes.
You BELIEVE IN JESUS,
but now it is different
because you REALLY BELIEVE.
Now what?
What do you do AFTER you experience
the ANSWER
that you always wanted
to your PRAYER?
Now what?
Well, my now what was that
after I basked in the ANSWER,
I immediately went to my UNANSWERED PRAYER list,
ruminating on what I didn't have ANSWERED yet.
Wow.
How quickly I forget
that JESUS has RISEN
and that
HE is the ANSWER to all PRAYERS.
What does that mean?
At times I am too FIXED on what I want when I want it,
so that I forget that GOD has already given me
EVERYTHING that
I NEED IN JESUS!
JESUS has RISEN!
IT IS FINISHED.
HE is not DEAD,
yet I treat HIM as such
when I am living in a dead HOPE.
A dead HOPE?
Yup.
BELIEVING IN JESUS,
yet missing the JOY that is beyond
the CROSS,
beyond the grave.
Do I live
FIXING my eyes beyond
whatever CROSS is in my life,
that GOD is asking me to bear?
Do I live
FIXING my eyes beyond whatever GRAVE is in my life,
that I am waiting for GOD to breath LIFE back into?
Who is my JESUS?
Is HE bleeding on a CROSS?
Is HE wrapped in GRAVE clothes in a tomb?
Or is
HE
THE RISEN CHRIST?
Hmm.
THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS HERE!
JESUS IS HERE.
IT IS FINISHED.
REAL JOY.
Are you waiting for the
RISEN CHRIST
to appear once again,
before
you will bask in
THE JOY OF THE LORD
in the right here and now,
even if you are bearing a CROSS that is so heavy?
Are you waiting for the
RISEN CHRIST
to appear once again,
before you will bask in
THE HOPE OF THE LORD
in the right here and now,
even if there is a
GRAVE,
a dead spot,
in your life?
The TIME IS NOW.
I think of Martha when she was overwhelmed with
GRIEF after LAZARUS had died.
She questioned
JESUS~
“If you had been here,
my brother would not have died"*
BUT there was
JESUS.
“I am the Resurrection and the Life.
Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, relies on)
ME [as SaVIOR] will live even if he dies;
and everyone who lives and believes in ME [as SAVIOR will never die.
Do you believe this?”*
Oh the question that
JESUS
asks to ONE and to ALL.
DO YOU BELIEVE THIS?
Do you BELIEVE in the RISEN CHRIST?
JESUS is ALIVE in all DEAD things.
JESUS is ALIVE despite the CROSS that you my have to bear.
Oh to LIVE like the
RISEN MARTHA
after she ingested the words of
JESUS~
“Yes, LORD; I have believed and continue to believe that YOU are the
CHRIST (the Messiah, the Anointed),
the SON of GOD,
HE who was [destined and promised]
to come into the world [and
it is for YOU that the world has waited]”
*(John 11: 21-27)
Oh what I reminder for myself
that I have to remove
JESUS from the bloody CROSS
and out of the GRAVE,
because
HE IS HERE IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING.
THANK YOU GOD
for
"HE LIVES"
