As I have been in my quarantining bubble,
and about ready to lose my mind,
GOD had another PLAN.
HE wanted me to not RUN away.
HE has been telling me how to
RUN THE RACE,
but HE has me in a position
where I can’t RUN away,
as my hubby and I have been
in solitary confinement
sharing the germ that has been invading the world,
as it invaded us.
But thanks to GOD
as it hit us lightly.
What has it been like?
TRAPPED.
You can’t RUN away.
You realize how subtle we may RUN away
to be distracted from the
FEELINGS
or the
never ending same
CIRCUMSTANCES
or the
BROKEN relationships
that have always been there.
But then there are
DISTRACTIONS
that ease the pain
that take you to another place
so you don’t have to
FEEL
or
DEAL
or
MEND.
So what have I learned from this
time of being a prisoner in my own home.
1. That I get to be alone with my hubby, that I wouldn’t trade for anything else.
2. That I get to be alone with my broken feelings
about my broken circumstances and broken relationships
3. That GOD won’t let me RUN away because HE meets me in the middle of all the
BROKEN areas of my life just like HE has promised
as HE is working for good all things for the good of those who love HIM who have been called according to HIS purpose. GOD got me.
HE made me FEEL deeper.
HE made me STAY in my FEELINGS,
HE made me BE in the middle of WAITING for not only the germ to go away,
but also in all the BROKENNESS that is in my life.
We all have BROKEN, as we live in a BROKEN world.
But if we didn’t have BROKEN we wouldn’t be able to
ever experience
our GOD at such a personal level
where HE uses ALL THINGS
for such GOOD
and the GOOD
is filling my being
because
GOD is always GOOD.
So how do we RUN THE RACE of LIFE
we RUN with the ONE who RUNS with us
every step of the way
as HE takes us
from
BROKEN into BEAUTIFUL*(the name of the next
RAGS TO RICHES WOMEN'S CONFERENCE, see below).
Oh tears fill by being
as
GOD meets me in all
BROKENNESS
reminding me
that HE never sleeps on the job
and is just reminding me that
HE is the one who is RUNNING my life
and all I have to do is to
let GOD be GOD
and
continue to
be quarantined IN HIM~
“Live in ME. Make your home in ME just as I do in you"*
Oh my friend
that is when
JESUS takes us from
BROKEN into BEAUTIFUL
as if we RUN away
we couldn't experience the
FRUIT of STAYING~
"You can’t bear fruit unless you are joined with ME. I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with ME and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant" *(John 15).
Let's continue to
RUN THE RACE
