They come out every morning
at the same time
like their life depends on it.
They just sit on their designated fronds
and are so STILL
until one bird ruffles the feathers of another.
And then they go back to what they do best
and
BE STILL.
A peacefulness runs through my being
as I want to be a bird.
I wonder how they can be so STILL
and do the same thing every day.
As a flock of them fly off in the morning
to just return at night
And
then they do it again.
Maybe we are all birds,
but we just complicate life.
If we could be so STILL
maybe we would shed a tear or two.
If we could be so STILL
to embrace life in its fullest,
as its fullest in its total STILLNESS~
for that is the place and space
when GOD takes over your being.
You can almost hear your own breathing
mixed in with the gurgle of a bird in the background.
Is this what GOD desires?
For all of us to be so STILL that
we end up SOARING ABOVE
whatever strives to steal our PEACE.
REAL LIFE happens that does ruffle our feathers
and should ruffle our feathers,
because sickness & conflicts & disasters are part of REAL LIFE
that makes you shed some REAL tears.
And maybe REAL LIFE makes you stop
because you have no choice
but to be so
STILL like a bird,
just being
in the STILLNESS of the moment,
a moment that is like a breath
passing through this temporary world
on your way to eternal bliss
where STILLNESS will not only be just a part of our REAL STORY
but a REALITY for all~
for where
sickness & conflict & disasters will be gone
because
"HE will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away.”
And HE who sits on the throne said, 'Behold, I am making all things new.' Also HE said, 'Write, for these words are faithful and true [they are accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy]'" (Revelation 21)
I will never look at my bird friends the same
as they are GOD's creations
who know how to really live~
"Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are" (Matthew 6:26).
Oh BE STILL & KNOW THAT GOD IS GOD
