Day 9: Ask God

Did you ASK HIM first?

Not your friend. Not your spouse. Not your mother, brother, or sister.

Did you ASK GOD first.

FIRST THINGS FIRST.

DEAR GOD,

Where are YOU?

What do YOU want me to do next?

Do YOU SEE me when no one else does?

Are YOU really there in the silence?

Will YOU REALLY never leave or forsake me?

Why won't YOU heal my hurts?

Why is it taking so long for YOU to answer my prayers?

And then GOD ANSWERS you.

HE ANSWERS you in a sunrise and sunset.

HE ANSWERS you in a tender touch from a friend ,

who reaches out to you at the perfect time when you need a touch.

HE ANSWERS you in a giggle from a little child.

HE ANSWERS you always.

Because GOD IS ALWAYS GOD.

GOD IS ALWAYS GOOD.

GOD IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL.

FIRST THINGS FIRST~

Just ASK HIM.

GOD, where are YOU?

GOD ANSWERS~

HE is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

Just ASK HIM.

GOD, what do you want me to do next?

“Be still, and know that I am GOD" (Psalm 46:10).

Just ASK HIM.

GOD, do YOU SEE me when no one else does?

GOD ANSWERS~

"Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear HIM,

on those who hope in his steadfast love" (Psalm 33:18)

Just ASK HIM.

GOD, are YOU really there in the silence?

GOD ANSWERS~

"So do not fear, for I am with you" (Isaiah 41:10).

Just ASK HIM.

GOD, will YOU REALLY never leave or forsake me?

GOD ANSWERS~

"I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5).

Just ASK HIM.

GOD why won't YOU heal my hurts.

GOD ANSWERS~

“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and

saves the crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18).

Just ASK HIM.

GOD, why is it taking YOU so long to answer my prayers?

GOD ANSWERS~

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,

and I will give you rest" (Mathew 11:28).

Oh,

ASK GOD FIRST

because

GOD ALWAYS ANSWER

with the

WORDS of HIS SON

that are for

YOU ALWAYS

because

JESUS IS ALWAYS

there for you

to carry ALL your burdens

that are wrapped up in your questions.

Therefore,

do

FIRST THINGS FIRST

and

"YOU WILL REST"

(listen to the song below)
