Day 8: Unforgettable

How do you not REMEMBER someone

who is no longer here,

because they sacrificed their life to

fight for our country

and are no longer here?

How do you UNMEMORY someone

in your life who is no longer here because they have

moved to their permanent home with THE LORD.

We can't UNREMEMBER.

We can't UNMEMORY.

Because we can't UNFORGET

WHO has happened

because the WHO has happened.

Because a MEMORY is like an arrow

it pierces your heart

with a great SADNESS because their presence is so missed,

yet also with a great JOY when you REMEMBER the precious MEMORIES

that you have shared with the loved one who you so miss.

And a MEMORY is like an arrow that stays in your heart

because you never will let them go

even though they are no longer here,

yet you have PRESSED FORWARD in life

without them

day by day

moment by moment

only because

JESUS has enabled you to PRESS FORWARD

beyond the grief, the lose, the pain of the hurt

by piercing your heart

with

HIS STRENGTH to keep going when you don't want to

and with

HIS COMPASSION as HE feels your every emotion

because HE has experienced every emotion for HIMSELF

and

GOD

NEVER UNREMEMBERS any one of HIS children

because you & I & those who have gone home before us

are more than just a MEMORY to GOD.

So on this day of MEMORY

let's not never forget those who have lost their lives for fighting for a greater cause

and let's never FORGET

the ONE who LOST HIS LIFE for HIS greater cause~

and that is you & me my friend

the moment we make

JESUS OUR ONLY OPTION

so that HE never FORGETS us

and we never FORGET HIM~

"Praise the LORD, my soul,

and forget not all his benefits—

who forgives all your sins

and heals all your diseases,

who redeems your life from the pit

and crowns you with love and compassion,

who satisfies your desires with good things

so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s" (Psalm 103:2-5)

So here is to all of ours who are more than a MEMORY

as they are and will always be~
