Day 7: Unrest Rest

When JESUS INVITES you

TO COME,

HE INVITES you

TO COME.

And why?

Because

HE has a GIFT

that only HE can GIVE.

The GIFT OF REST.

A REST for your

mind, body, and heart.

What is this REST?

REST~

 "to take a break from one’s activities in order to be refreshed" (logos)

Hmm.

To TAKE A BREAK from one's activities.

Is

BEING ANXIOUS one of your activities?

TAKE A REST~

"Cast all your anxiety on HIM, because HE cares for you"

(I Peter 1:7).

Is

BEING BITTER one of your activities?

TAKE A REST~

“FATHER, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

(Luke 23:34).

Is

BEING FEARFUL one of your activities?

TAKE A REST~

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.

Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid"

(John 14:27).

Is BEING IN CONTROL one of your activities?

TAKE A REST~

“Cease striving and know that I am GOD"

(Psalm 46:10).

Do you NEED TO TAKE A REST?

Let me answer this question for you,

YES.

For REST is JESUS,

because

HE is our REST in ALL things,

and

HE INVITES ALL

to EMBRACE the true meaning of

REST~

"Come to ME, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened,

and I will cause you

to REST [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls]"

(Matthew 11:28-30).

Therefore,

“Come with ME by yourselves to a place

 where WE can be alone, and you can get some REST”

(Mark 6:31).

Ready. Get Set. Go.
