It is a silent morning as I wait on GOD.
HE is right here, yet HE is silent.
I want to hear something
as I don't like silence
because silence is a vulnerable place
where it is just GOD & I.
What if I could see GOD sitting next to me
and see JESUS sitting on the other side of me.
I see them reclining back
in perfect PEACE
and laughing to one another
with such JOY
that makes me embrace the silence.
I don't have to say anything
as just their presence sandwiches me with
PERFECT PEACE that has no words because it transcends all understanding.
I don't want to leave this PLACE OF SILENCE
as it feels so safe
even though I can't see them.
I TRUST that they are here
because TRUST believes in the unseen
that lives in every moment
that lives within me,
hugging me in the PLACE OF SILENCE
when I am left to myself
when no one is around~
yet I am never alone.
As I sit in the PLACE OF SILENCE
that is no longer deafening
as it takes me to that place of
STILLNESS
to the core of my being
that awakens my soul
to the LOVE that surrounds me
because GOD & JESUS sandwich me in
to a place that I don't want to leave
because the PLACE OF SILENCE
is where
PERFECT PEACE meets PERFECT JOY
that is not seen and indescribable
and received
just as it is
following me wherever I go.
Even when the sounds of the day will get louder
I will remember the
PLACE OF SILENCE
that really isn't silent
because
our GOD & our JESUS
are never silent
as it is me
who drowns out their soft whispers
when I strive to make
GOD & JESUS happen
when they are right here happening all the time
just waiting for me to wait in the
PLACE OF SILENCE
where the unseen becomes so visible~
"You love HIM even though you have never seen HIM.
Though you do not see HIM now, you trust HIM;
and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy" (I Peter 1:8).
Thank YOU GOD for the
PLACE OF SILENCE
as it is where we
RUN THE RACE OF LIFE
with you
