When GOD says
I WILL ,
HE means I WILL.
But
WILL you
BELIEVE that
GOD WILL do what HE says HE WILL do
despite
what you can't see
what you can't feel
what you can't
BELIEVE in the moment
because
DOUBT has taken over?
It sounds quite counter productive,
as if you are drinking caffeinated
and decaffeinated coffee
at the same time.
Oh I still drink caffeinated,
yet my BELIEVING right now is
very counter productive
as I am
LOVING GOD
and
LOVING JESUS,
yet
DISCOURAGEMENT
is striving to take over my heart.
Hmm.
So how do I LOVE GOD with ALL MY HEART
and still question whether I WILL
BELIEVE that
GOD WILL
still be GOD
in the midst of what appears to be the IMPOSSIBLE?
Oh when DOUBT starts to take over your being,
you start to think that you are losing your mind,
because you know that you
BELIEVE,
yet you are DOUBTING at the same time.
Hmm.
Half caffeine. Half decaf.
What is it?
BELIEVE ANYWAY!
"We continue to shout our praise
even when we’re hemmed in with troubles,
because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue,
keeping us alert for whatever GOD will do next.
In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything GOD
generously pours into our lives through
the HOLY SPIRIT!"
(Romans 5:3-5 MSG)
Who is GOD when DOUBT strives to take over?
STILL GOD.
Who are you when DOUBT strives to take over?
STILL GODS.
So is GOD enough when you DOUBT that HE WILL be enough?
Oh yes, and more so.
For GOD is taking me from
DOUBTING HIM
to
BELIEVING HIM
that
HIS PRESENCE is enough.
Oh how PERSEVERING FAITH
pushes you to the limits
of BELIEVING GOD
in the midst of
UNBELIEF
because
you
continue
to
FOLLOW HIM
anyway,
because
HE continues to be with you
ALWAYS~
"Have I not commanded you?
Be strong and courageous.
Do not be afraid;
do not be discouraged,
for the LORD your GOD will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).
For GOD IS and GOD WILL ALWAYS BE
"STILL GOD"
