I am drenched in FORGIVENESS.

Drenched because of the tears I just shed,

because GOD humbled me

to

turn the other cheek

against an offense,

by not defending

but by asking for FORGIVENESS.

Very strange,

because I was the one who received the wrongdoing,

yet GOD had me reach out and ask for FORGIVENESS.

for anything that I may have done to offend.

OUCH,

as it brought me to my knees,

because I received another offense back

and remained silent

as I had to FORGIVE again

by

 not being on the defense,

but by turning the other cheek.

OUCH!

When GOD gets you on your knees,

there is only one place to look

and that is up

to where

FORGIVENESS was

birthed~

 on THE CROSS

where JESUS

received more than one

 OUCH,

with every bang of the hammer.

One.

Two.

Three.

"FATHER, FORGIVE them, for they do not know what they are doing”

(Luke 23:34).

OUCH!

FORGIVENESS~

the HEART of GOD birthed on THE CROSS.

So how may times are we to FORGIVE?

“I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times"

(Matthew 18:22).

FORGIVENESS into ETERNITY!

Now do I get a brownie button for

FORGIVING

the one who won't FORGIVE me?

Oh no.

Why do I share?

Because GOD broke me down.

And it was the hardest thing to do,

as I sacrificed my Isaac,

which was PRIDE.

But BROKEN PRIDE is the sweet spot of SURRENDER.

So what now?

I am in a dead space,

as I did what GOD called me to do,

and I have heard anything back,

and may never

but oh how BLESSED I am

as I have been CHANGED.

FORGIVENESS IS THE OPEN DOOR TO FREEDOM!

And I will continue to

FORGIVE,

just because that is what GOD asks of me,

as I continue to bury my PRIDE

by

"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which GOD has called me heavenward in CHRIST JESUS"

(Philippians 3:13-14).

Is there someone who GOD is asking you to FORGIVE?

Is it yourself?

Is it another?

Is it GOD?

FORGIVENESS~

One size fits all"

"It's the hardest thing to give away.

And the last thing on your mind today.

It always goes to those who don't deserve.

It's the opposite of how you feel.

When they pain they caused is just too real.

Takes everything you have to say the word,

FORGIVENESS"

(listen to the song below)

And if you have some time,

and some tears,

listen to the REAL STORY behind the song

FORGIVENESS below.
