The caterpillar knows something is DIFFERENT
because it no longer feels like a caterpillar
and it no longer looks like caterpillar
as
its legs are no longer.
Crawling is no longer an option
as now it is dressed with wings.
Wings to FLY.
Wings that were never used before,
but that is all that it has now.
FLAP. FLAP. FLAP.
They work.
But now what?
TAKE FLIGHT~
"So if the SON makes you FREE, then you are unquestionably FREE"
(John 8:36).
But is FLYING for you?
You look behind you
and see that the cocoon that was built around you
as a caterpillar
is no longer there.
What option do you have?
To stay STILL,
frozen in the PAST
Or to
FLAP
FLAP
FLAP.
To use your NEW wings to do
what they
were created to do.
To leave the PAST behind,
because the PAST is gone.
as you were made brand NEW~
"Therefore if anyone is IN CHRIST
[that is, grafted in, joined to HIM by faith in HIM as SAVIOR],
he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the HOLY SPIRIT];
the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition]
have passed away.
Behold, new things have come
[because spiritual awakening brings a new life]" ( 2 Corinthians 5:17).
FIRST THINGS FIRST.
FLAP. FLAP. FLAP.
It feels so UNFAMILIAR,
but it should because
you weren't FREE before.
Oh to FEEL FREEDOM
is to
EXPERIENCE FREEDOM~
to go where you were never where before
because you are no longer who you used to be
because now you are who HE created you to be~
"I have been crucified with CHRIST [that is, IN HIM I have shared HIS crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but CHRIST lives in me"*
So what are you going to do?
FLY FREE~
"The life I now live in the body I live by
FAITH [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting]
in the SON of GOD, who loved me and gave HIMSELF up for me" *(Galatians 2:20).
FLAP. FLAP. FLAP.
"But one thing I do: forgetting
what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead"
(Philippians 3:13).
