What if infants could talk
and when you looked into their precious eyes
and said,
"I LOVE YOU"
they came back with
every reason why you shouldn't LOVE them.
It sounds so absurd,
but think about it.
You are that infant.
I am that infant.
And
GOD not only says
I LOVE YOU
but did something to
show HIS LOVE~
"But GOD demonstrates HIS own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us" (Romans 5:8).
And then we think
"BUT GOD"
if you really knew me
you couldn't possible LOVE me,
and then you start to give HIM every reason why HE shouldn't LOVE you.
And GOD responds,
"I do KNOW you
and that is why I LOVE YOU".
HE KNOWS
and HE LOVES YOU anyway.
It really is so hard to comprehend
when you don't feel
LOVABLE.
But do we have to feel LOVABLE
in order to BELIEVE LOVABLE?
LOVE isn't a feeling.
LOVE is three PERSONS~
FATHER
SON
HOLY SPIRIT.
It takes
THREE PERSONS
to show LOVE
to be LOVE
because
you & I & everyone
can not live without
LOVE.
A LOVE that LOVES
when we are acting the most UNLOVABLE
and even when we don't BELIEVE HIS LOVE
because
Perfect behavior doesn't earn perfect LOVE~
"While we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us".
So maybe just maybe
we really are just a bunch of infants
who are so
LOVED
even though
we cry
&
are needy
&
act helpless
because we are
helpless
&
needy
&
do have a
GOD who we can cry out to
when we are
not acting perfectly LOVED
because
we all need
HIS PERFECT LOVE
that never stops
LOVING
even the UNLOVABLE
because
HIS PERFECT LOVE
is not based on our
doing PERFECT
feeling PERFECT
acting PERFECT
Because~
"The LORD is compassionate and merciful,
slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
HE will not constantly accuse us,
nor remain angry forever.
HE does not punish us for all our sins;
hE does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.
For HIS unfailing love toward those who fear HIM
is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth" (Psalm 103:8-11)
So I think I am going to be an infant today.

because~
"The LORD is like a FATHER to HIS children,
tender and compassionate to those who fear HIM" (Psalm 103:13).
Aren't you glad GOD doesn't have to keep proving
HIS LOVE
to us
because HE already did~
"While we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us"~
LOVING each one of us with
HIS UNCONDITIONAL GRACE.
So why act like we don't deserve HIS LOVE
and just BELIEVE
"HOW HE LOVES"
