What if you knew your PURPOSE
and you LIVED your PURPOSE~
would you feel PURPOSEFUL?
BUT what if what you knew your PURPOSE
BUT you weren't able to LIVE your PURPOSE~
would you be PURPOSELESS?
BUT what if you knew that
GOD KNEW your PURPOSE
and
you KNEW that GOD KNEW your PURPOSE,
yet you weren't feeling very
PURPOSEFUL,
would you still be LIVING GOD'S PURPOSE?
Hmm.
Maybe you have to go back and read that again
because maybe just maybe
PURPOSE isn't what we
have made it to be
because
right this second
you are
LIVING in GOD'S PURPOSE
and it doesn't matter if you
feel
PURPOSEFUL or PURPOSELESS
just because
you are GOD'S PURPOSE!
So
if you are GOD'S PURPOSE
then wouldn't your
PURPOSE be to
“’Love the LORD your GOD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind" (Matthew 22:3)
and then you would be
LIVING PURPOSEFUL
because
when you put
GOD first
everything becomes
PURPOSEFUL
because
GOD takes over you whole being
that it is so supernatural
that you can't explain it
or contain it
because
when we make it all about
GOD
HIS PEACE overwhelms you so that
you feel nothing else
BUT HIS PRESENCE
as you become one with GOD.
And GOD'S PURPOSE is
HIS desire to become ONE with you.
And when that happens
you don't even wonder what your
PURPOSE is
because if
GOD is all that matters
then JESUS is all that matters
then you are filled with
your PURPOSE.
I have lost much
BUT GOD has given me so much more
because
GOD wanted MORE of me
as HE wants MORE of you
so
let's LIVE PURPOSEFUL right this second
by LIVING IN HIS PURPOSE~
"But whatever former things were gains to me [as I thought then],
these things [once regarded as advancements in merit]
I have come to consider as loss [absolutely worthless]
for the sake of CHRIST [and the purpose which HE has given my life].
But more than that, I count everything as loss
compared to the priceless privilege and supreme advantage of knowing CHRIST JESUS my LORD [and of growing more deeply and thoroughly acquainted with HIM—a joy unequaled].
For HIS sake I have lost everything,
and I consider it all garbage, so that I may gain CHRIST,
and may be found in HIM [believing and relying on HIM],
not having any righteousness of my own derived from [my obedience to] the Law and its rituals, but [possessing] that [genuine righteousness] which comes through faith in CHRIST, the righteousness which comes from GOD on the basis of faith" (Philippians 3:7-9)
It is quite easy
so why complicate it!
