It wasn't until I could do life
ALONE
that I could live life.
I used to fear being ALONE
because that meant that I was
Abandoned
Forsaken
An Outcast.
A wee bit dramatic,
but that is what it felt like whenever I was ALONE.
because I
BELIEVED I was
Abandoned
Forsaken
An Outcast.
I didn't make this up,
as what we feel does come from somewhere
deep in your heart
for where something happened
or something was said
that gives you the message that you are
what you feel or you are what someone makes you feel.
But it wasn't until I was so ALONE
that I no longer was ALONE.
Oh ALONE is the sweet spot.
ALONE is being in the belly of a big fish!
IMPERFECT
JONAH
ALONE,
because it was the PERFECT spot
where GOD would get him
ALONE
so he would finally see that
you can't run away from the ONE
who wants to be with you.
ALONE~
when all you can feel is you and your breath
and wonder if anyone really cares.
And then something happens,
or should I say SOMEONE happens
as you have no choice but to
cry out to the ONE who has invited you to be
ALONE so it is just you and HIM.
Who would you talk to if you were swallowed by a big fish?
"In trouble, deep trouble, I prayed to GOD. HE answered me.
From the belly of the grave I cried, 'Help!' YOU heard my cry" (Jonah 2:2).
GOD heard JONAH ,
who performed so IMPERFECTLY
as he didn't obey GOD when GOD asked him to do something.
Instead he ran the other way.
BUT GOD still pursued him
because GOD'S will is for no one to perish,
even if you are running the other way.
Oh ALONE never felt so good
because ALONE doesn't exist,
because no matter where you are
GOD IS.
I thank GOD for pursuing IMPERFECT me,
even when I was running in the other direction
or I would have never
found the ONE who found me.
Because HE loves the PERFECTLY IMPERFECT PERFECTLY~
"Come and hear, all you who fear GOD;
let me tell you what HE has done for me.
I cried out to HIM with my mouth;
HIS praise was on my tongue.
If I had cherished sin in my heart,
the LORD would not have listened;
but GOD has surely listened
and has heard my prayer.

who has not rejected my prayer
or withheld HIS love from me!"
