Day 6: Ho Ho Hope

My heart hurts

as it has some sadness

as it has some disappointment

as it has some despair

as it has some_______.

My heart hurts

for what was

as I wait for what will be.

My heart hurts,

but it is in the hurt

where HOPE seeks a space to fill.

What if our hearts never hurt,

would we need A SAVIOR

to be born

who would do the unimaginable

who would do the indescribable

who would do the impossible

that no one

that no thing

could ever do.

But

HOPE was birthed

on that one

SILENT NIGHT

AWAY IN A MANGER

when the world was

hurting

just like our hurting world today.

Has anything really changed

since way back in BC

when the world was crying out for

HOPE

to be birthed into all hurting hearts?

Oh the healing power of HOPE.

HOPE~

confident expectation and desire;

confident expectation that good things are coming.

HOPE is CERTAINTY.

HOPE is strong confidence in the promises of GOD.

"HOPE is not a granted wish or favor performed; no, it is far greater than that. It is a zany, unpredictable dependence on a GOD

who loves to surprise us out of our socks and

be there in the flesh to see our reaction " (Max Lucado).

It isn’t the “maybe it will happen" kind of HOPE

because

HOPE IS BIRTHED~

“Behold I make things new” (Isaiah 43:19).

Where do you need a newness, a new birth?

What are you HOPING for?

HOPE IS BIRTHED

because

THE BABY was BIRTHED

to fill every nook & cranny of your hurting heart.

HOPE is a precious gift that we have to cleave to,

just as a baby cleaves to his/her mother,

therefore we are to cleave to

THIS BABY~

Our Living HOPE.

Thank YOU GOD

for

"THE HOPE OF CHRISTMAS" (listen to the song below)
