Day 6: Dear God

DEAR GOD,
It is early morning, and the sun is still asleep,
but I am wide awake.
And so are YOU GOD!
YOU always greet me in the morning,
as if you are waiting for me.
I get excited to SIT with YOU.
Sometimes you are so QUIET
that I question if YOU are even here.
Like right now.
The QUIETNESS is deafening,
so that my mind starts to wander
to try to create something
to make YOU come more alive in this moment.
But now,
all I hear is
LOVE.
PERFECT LOVE
that does not FORSAKE me.
PERFECT LOVE
that LOVES me
as I am in this very moment.
PERFECT LOVE
that takes me deeper into YOUR LOVE
that is a QUIET LOVE,
as it is a PERSONAL LOVE
that is tailored to me
because YOU tailored me.
But not only for me,
but for EVERYONE.
YOUR LOVE
does not discriminate.
It is for ALL
because
YOU LOVE ALL
with
A LOVE that
LOVES PERFECTLY.
For
YOU are patient.
YOU are kind.
YOU do not envy.
YOU do not boast.
\YOU are not proud.
YOU are not self-seeking.
YOU are not easily angered.
YOU keep no record of wrongs.
YOU do not delight in evil
YOU rejoice with the truth
YOU always protect.
YOU always trust.
YOU always hope.
YOU always persevere.
YOUR LOVE never fails.

THANK YOU GOD
for meeting me
right where I am,
sitting with
YOU
in the
STILLNESS
to bring me back to
the simplicity of
FAITH
that is wrapped up
in
YOUR PERFECT LOVE
because
