Day 6: Believing In Unbelief

Writer's picture: JoniJoni

The STORY unfolds.

You put yourself in the main character's sandals.

You can't even imagine.

You are on the edge of your seat

anticipating not only what is going to happen

but how it is going to happen

because the situation is beyond comprehension.

The sea is in front of them.

The enemy is behind them.

They look upon their leader in fear.

The leader they trusted because GOD called him to the task~

MOSES.

The leader who was sent to set them free

from the other character~

PHARAOH

who kept them hostage,

whose heart was hardened by GOD

that it took

bloody water

frogs

lice & gnats

diseased livestock

boils

hail

locusts

darkness for three days

& the

killing of firstborn sons

before freedom became a reality~

“Get out!' he ordered. "Leave my people—and take the rest of the Israelites with you!

Go and worship the LORD as you have requested" (Exodus 12:31 NLT)

FREEDOM became a REALITY,

yet so did the RED SEA before them

& PHARAOH'S armies behind them

as they looked upon their trusted leader MOSES

in UN~TRUST

because they forgot what GOD PROMISED.

Oh how do you respond when the waters are in front of you & behind you~

& there is no way out?

What PROMISE of GOD do you need to cling in the midst of impossibility?

You know the RED SEA was parted.

You know the enemies were defeated.

You know GOD always keeps HIS PROMISES.

What do you do when your FAITH WAVERS?

Oh you remember WHO sent MOSES to do the impossible~

"I AM Who I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you” (Exodus 3:14)

From the beginning to the end

GOD IS GOD~

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the LORD GOD,

“who is and who was and who is to come, the ALMIGHTY" (Revelation 1:8)

REAL LIFE. REAL STORY. REAL GOD.

Therefore

let's WALK in the PROMISES of the ONE whom we claim

"YOU ARE I AM" (listen to the song below)
