Day 5: Your Best Yes!

Are you ready for

A FRESH START?

Are you tired and weary of the

SAME thing being the SAME thing.

What if the SAME became DIFFERENT,

because you became

DIFFERENT.

But not a temporary kind of DIFFERENT,

because you bought a NEW thing,

or received a NEW thing.

What if you took

ONE SECOND out of this year

to say

One Word

that only has

three letters~

YES!

A positive word,

yet challenging at the same time.

Would you like a piece of cake?

YES!

Would you FORGIVE me?

Hmm.

You know YES is the right response,

but sometimes it is so hard to say

YES.

JESUS asked a NO or YES question.

"DO YOU BELIEVE THIS?"*.

So simple,

as JESUS will receive whatever answer you give HIM,

which means you will receive whatever answer you give HIM.

NO,

 I don't BELIEVE that

or

YES,

 I do BELIEVE.

It is so simple, yet so complicated

when you try to wrap it around your brain.

Why would A PERFECT JESUS

even want to ask this question

to you as HE asked to Martha~

 “I am the resurrection and the life.

 The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.

 Do you believe this?”

*(John 11:25-26).

Oh 

THE HUMILITY OF JESUS,

as HE knew who HE was,

yet HE put no pressure on Martha.

Oh

THE GRACE OF JESUS

as 

HE

always gives an

INVITATION,

for

 HE is a GENTLEMAN.

A MAN OF COMPASSION. 

A MAN who so LOVES like HIS ABBA FATHER.

I could just picture Martha,

 looking into the eyes of

THE ONE

who was to raise her brother from the dead.

JESUS,

 standing right in front of her.

Oh tears fill my being as I want to be her.

I want to be standing right in front of

JESUS,

and listen to

 HIS voice,

as HE is looking right at me.

I would be silent.

I would be in awe.

Why would JESUS be talking to little ole me?

Because that is who JESUS IS.

Because I said YES to HIM,

when I was being my IMPERFECT self.

Why YES?

Because I NEEDED JESUS.

Do you NEED JESUS?

Let me answer it for you~

YES.!

Do you BELIEVE IN JESUS,

yet need a REVIVAL?

Let me answer for you~

YES!

Do you question whether you even have a NEED for JESUS?

Let me answer for you~

YES!

For JESUS doesn't mince HIS words.

For HE means what HE says, and says what HE means.

For JESUS is GOD'S WILL~

"For this is the will of MY FATHER, that everyone who looks on the SON and believes in HIM should have eternal life,

 and I will raise HIM up on the last day.”

(John 11: 25).

THE PROMISE OF JESUS!

ETERNAL LIFE.

Not because we have made ourselves perfect.

But because we believe in

THE PERFECT ONE.

And when we belong to JESUS CHRIST,

something beautiful has already begun.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:

The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Did you hear that?

THE NEW IS HERE!

Not next year.

Not tomorrow.

Not next month in 47 days when Christmas Day will be here.

NOW.

Because JESUS IS HERE.

And although our circumstances may not change in an instant,

we can turn to HIM in any instant.

We can repent.

We can receive

HIS FORGIVENESS.

We can surrender what we've been holding on to.

We can begin again in our walk with HIM.

Oh, how I love

that A FRESH START doesn't require a holiday.

It requires turning our hearts

to THE ONE who makes us NEW.

For the KINGDOM of GOD is here, NOW.

JESUS was born and there is no turning back.

NOW.

ONE MOMENT.

ONE INVITATION.

ONE WORD.

YES!

And for those who already belong to HIM,

that YES can be renewed again and again

as we continue to follow HIM.

Because

HIS MERCIES

are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22–23).

And HIS GRACE is sufficient for every moment (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Oh, the beauty

of a FRESH START with JESUS!

GET READY. GET SET. GO!

Just say it~

YES!
