Day 5: If Only

IF ONLY I

Would Have

Could Have

Should Have...

Oh the words of the past

of what we didn't do yet

because we

Would Have

Could Have

Should Have.

But

IF ONLY

we

Would Have

Could Have

Should Have

Known Better

and

do what we are asked to do the first time

before we begin to question whether we "should" in the first place.

IF I ONLY

could take back some of my

IF ONLYS

and do it again

would I need to make

Resolutions in the first place

to undo what I already did or didn't do?

IF ONLY

I ate better.

IF ONLY

I exercised more.

IF ONLY

I ______________.

What is your IF ONLY?

IF ONLY I would

"TRUST in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;  In all your ways acknowledge HIM"

Then "HE shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6)

IF ONLY I would

"Not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths,

but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs,

that it may benefit those who listen..."

Then I would

"Not grieve the HOLY SPIRIT of GOF, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption"

IF ONLY I would

"Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice"

And instead

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other,

just as in CHRIST GOD forgave you" ( Ephesians 4)

IF ONLY

I would

But

I could

And

I should

because

"IF ONLY you had paid attention to my commands,

your peace would have been like a river,

your well-being like the waves of the sea" (Isaiah 48:1)

Good bye

IF ONLY I

Would have

Could have

Should have~

"Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away,

and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like.

But whoever catches a glimpse of the revealed counsel of GOD—the free life!—even out of the corner of his eye, and sticks with it, is no distracted scatterbrain but a man or woman of action. That person will find delight and affirmation in the action" (James 1:22-25 The Message)

Because

JESUS IS MORE THAN A RESOLUTION~

"If you love me, show it by doing what I’ve told you" (John 14:15)
