Whose VOTE is the most important VOTE
that will determine your destiny?
Your VOTE~
"Whoever believes in the SON has eternal life;
whoever does not obey the SON shall not see life,
but the wrath of GOD remains on him" (John 3:36).
It is quite simple when it is all said and done
because your life depends on it~
"For the wages of sin is death,
but the free gift of GOD [that is, HIS remarkable,
overwhelming gift of grace to believers]
is eternal life in CHRIST JESUS our LORD" (Romans 6:23 AMP)
What if we didn't have the free will to VOTE?
What if we didn't have the free will to choose to BELIEVE in JESUS?
What if GOD forced everyone to BELIEVE in JESUS?
Oh I wish how GOD would use HIS power
but it is FREE WILL that stands in the way of really being
FREE.
Look what happened in perfect paradise in the very beginning
when Adam & Eve had FREE WILL
to eat anything in the garden~
but just not the one thing on the one tree
that was forbidden.
Why didn't GOD stop them?
Why didn't GOD call down 1000 angels to tell them to
"FEAR NOT for the LORD is with you. Don't eat the apple".
Do you think then they would have listened and
VOTED to not take the forbidden bite?
Oh how I wish 1000 angels would come down
to stop me in my tracks
when I want to
use my FREE WILL
to
VOTE to do what I know isn't what GOD would like for me to VOTE to do.
Oh how I stumble. Oh how I fall.
But oh how I am brought back quickly
as I THANK GOD
that HE has given me the
FREE WILL
to
come before HIM
as HE has given you & everyone else the
FREE WILL
to come before HIM
because
HIS VOTE is for you & me & everyone else~
“For GOD so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that HE [even] gave HIS [ONE and] only begotten SON, so that whoever believes and trusts in HIM [as SAVIOR] shall not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 Amp)
If GOD is for us
because
JESUS is for us
then
why isn't the VOTE unanimous?
Because GOD believes in
FREE WILL~
the right to VOTE~
because HE is a GRACIOUS GOD
"The LORD does not delay [as though HE were unable to act]
and is not slow about HIS promise, as some count slowness,
but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you,
not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9)
So let's not abuse our FREE WILL to not VOTE
because who would really be the loser?
