Day 5: Childish Faith

What do you mean I have to WAIT?

But isn't life one big WAIT?

Just ask a CHILD,

who so just wants to get bigger.

As a CHILD is always getting to the next milestone.

Just watch a CHILD

just WAITING to roll over

just WAITING to crawl

just WAITING to walk

just WAITING to talk.

And before you know it

you have a walking talking CHILD

who you wish you could cradle again in your arms once again.

But then again

you were that CHILD.

But then again

you and I are still that CHILD~

for a CHILD is always a CHILD in HIS FATHER'S arms

at that moment of FAITH~

"For now we are all children of GOD through FAITH in JESUS CHRIST" (Galatians 3:26).

So FAITH takes us back to being a CHILD?

Oh yes.

Don't you just want to cry tears of JOY? Well I am.

Oh how this pulls at my heart strings.

Is it because I feel the weight of the world dissipate

as I feel swaddled in my FATHER'S ARMS.

Close your eyes. Feel your ABBA FATHER'S ARMS around you.

Let HIM wash away

every worry

every concern

every _______.

Oh to be SWADDLED~

Enveloped

Cocooned

Embraced.

Don't you feel like a CHILD?

Oh the joys of being a CHILD.

No worries. No hurry.

Just living in the moment

knowing that you are

Safe

Secure

Significant.

Oh CHILDISH FAITH

brings JOY to the soul

HOPE to the heart

PEACE to your whole being.

Let's all stop WAITING to get bigger

and turn back the clock and be that

CHILD

as we are AGELESS IN CHRIST~

always HIS CHILD

no matter our age.

Oh will you be that CHILD right now

and claim your eternal heritage

in the here and now

because

"Yes, dear friends, we are already GOD's children, right now, and we can’t even imagine what it is going to be like later on. But we do know this, that when HE comes we will be like HIM, as a result of seeing HIM as HE really is" (I John 3:2)

CHILDISH FAITH~

Forever SWADDLED in the here and now

"SAFE IN MY FATHER'S ARMS" (listen to the song below)
