Day 4: The Little Things

What does it REALLY mean to have a

BE~ATITUDE.

It is to TAKE ON the ATTITUDE of JESUS

no matter what comes your way.

Remember

when faced with __________.

But also

JESUS SAY

when faced with ___________.

But also.

Who Would

JESUS BE

when faced with

_____________.

What if, just what if

we begin our week with a

BE~ATITUDE,

just like JESUS,

and began with doing

the LITTLE things

that are the BIG things.

This brings me back when my hubby was leaving the house,

and I told him to pretend that he was carrying

a RED BALLON.

And you can just imagine the expression on his face,

as he rolled his eyes.

I guess I had to explain.

I told him to be the bringer of

JOY.

To pretend that he was holding

a RED BALLON. all day.

Think about it.

How would you act, if you brought a RED BALLON.

everywhere you went?

Can't you just feel your shoulders relaxing and a big smile on your face?

How would you react to someone who said hi to you,

as they were holding a RED BALLON.?

Just don't think about it.

Do it.

Today

A SMILE.

A PHONE CALL.

A GOOD MORNING.

A I AM THINKING OF YOU.

A _________.

Oh the LITTLE THINGS

that become BIG THINGS.

If only we all stopped long enough

to give

A SMILE.

A PHONE CALL.

A GOOD MORNING.

A I AM THINKING OF YOU

to that someone who

you have been

thinking about,

yet just haven't reached out to yet

because you are waiting for the perfect moment.

TODAY is the DAY

to be that someone

who does that

LITTLE THING

that TOUCHES another someone

in a BIG way.

Isn't that what JESUS is all about?

HE may have done the

BIGGEST THING

from the moment

HE left HIS heavenly home

to be swaddled in rags at birth,

to be swaddled in rags at death,

just so HE could swaddle us with a

LOVE that is so BIG

that death couldn't keep HIM in the grave.

HE is HERE. HE has RISEN.

Now that is A BIG THING

that makes

JOY explode in the LITTLE THINGS,

because

when you see

JESUS in the LITTLE THINGS.

LITTLE becomes so BIG

and all it begins with a

LITTLE TOUCH.

Oh she did it.

The woman labeled as the "sick woman" in the bible,

who did the LITTLEST THING that changed her life in a

BIG WAY,

because she reached out and

TOUCHED the fringe of

JESUS' robe

and IMMEDIATELY she was healed.

JESUS felt it because

HE felt HIS HEALING POWER

leave.

HE didn't interrogate the woman,

instead HE gave her the

BIGGEST THING~

"And HE said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace' (Luke 8:48)".

Just because she had

the LITTLE THING called FAITH

that made her take the RISK to do a BIG THING.

Oh REACH OUT & TOUCH JESUS.

It only takes a second.

Maybe what you need from

JESUS

seems so LITTLE,

but oh nothing is

LITTLE when JESUS is involved.

Therefore,

as you begin your day

put on a

BE~ATITUDE

and

LOVE LIKE JESUS,

by

REACHING OUT & TOUCHING

someone with

HIS LOVE

that will bring

A SMILE

A PHONE CALL

A GOOD MORNING

A I AM THINKING OF YOU

A _________,

to someone who really needs it

because~

"Love never gives up.

Love cares more for others than for self.

Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.

Love doesn’t strut,

Doesn’t have a swelled head,

Doesn’t force itself on others,

Isn’t always “me first,”

Doesn’t fly off the handle,

Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,

Doesn’t revel when others grovel,

Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,

Puts up with anything,

Trusts GOD always,

Always looks for the best,

Never looks back,

But keeps going to the end"

(I Corinthians 13:4-7)..

Wear HIS LOVE,

and let HIS LOVE run through yo

to the someones in your life

that need that one

LITTLE TOUCH,

just like

"THE GENEROUS MR. LOWELL" does.
