You just can't feel anything as you feel so alone
as life seems to have been taken away from you,
even yourself.
There is no way out
as you can't run away from yourself
from what you are feeling.
You wonder
Where is my JOY~ that indescribable JOY?
Where is my PEACE~ that transcends all understanding?
Where is the my HOPE~ that gets me to press forward through life?
Me, Myself & I is not a party.
You are then forced to
SIMPLY say the words
that you know will change everything
yet they are so hard to say
because you aren't sure anymore
because
IF HE cared enough you wouldn't be feeling this.
Yet, it is so SIMPLE.
Oh the tears are coming as I write
as I know this place
this lonely place
as it is so very real,
but I also know that it takes those
SIMPLE words
to roll off your tongue~
OH JESUS!
Then it begins to happen again
as JOY & PEACE & HOPE
fill your being again
as
HE has always been there
in your yesterdays, todays & already in your tomorrows.
JOY is found
as it was never lost
as it stood by me in my yesterdays
It now overwhelms me so
that it is so SIMPLY INDESCRIBABLE
because even though I can't
See JOY
I know it is there~
"Though you have not seen HIM, you love HIM; and even though you do not see HIM now, you believe in HIM and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious JOY" (I Peter 1:8)
It is so SIMPLE when I just
SIMPLY BELIEVE
in what I can't see right before my eyes
when I take my eyes off of
me, myself & I
so that
HIS PEACE transcends my own definition of PEACE~
"Peace I leave with you; MY peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (John 14:27).
Because HOPE has now joined my pity party
at the moment I make it so very SIMPLE
by taking my eyes off of
me, myself & I
so
JESUS meets me right where I am
to take me right where GOD is taking me
as HE empowers me with everything I need in order to
move beyond myself,
as HE always has done
as HE always does
because that is is who HE IS
for you & me & everyone else~
"May the GOD of HOPE fill you with all JOY & PEACE as you trust in HIM,
so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT" (Romans 15:13)
On JOY & PEACE & HOPE
is yours & mine
as HE has never left and will never leave
because
it is so SIMPLE
as
"NO ONE EVER CARE FOR ME LIKE JESUS" (listen to the song below)
