Even if you don't like to RUN.
Even if you have never RUN.
Even if you don't own a pair of sneakers.
You & I & everyone else is a RUNNER.
RUNNING somewhere.
RUNNING to or RUNNING away from,
but all are SIMPLY
RUNNING THE RACE
called life
to
a finish line
that we will all cross
in GOD'S perfect timing.
But for now
we RUN the course that is set before us.
The course that changes daily
dictated by
what we see
what we are experiencing
whatever we or the loved ones around us are going through
How are you RUNNING your race?
Is it by
Fear
or
Doubt
or
Anxiety
or
Anger
or
Bitterness
or
____________
because of
what you are experiencing along your course?
Or are you
RUNNING THE RACE
By
FAITH~
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for
and assurance about what we do not see" (Hebrews 11:1)
or
RUNNING THE RACE
By
GRACE~
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of GOD~not by works, so that no one can boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9)
So you will finish strong
having these words flow from your lips
when you cross the finish line
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith.I finished the race" (2 Timothy 4:7).
It is quite SIMPLE
even if you don't like to RUN
because the race has to be RUN,
but oh how SIMPLE it is as we
"throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles" (Hebrews 12;1)
because RUNNING with extra weight holds us back.
And as we RUN and start to sweat~
"Let us RUN with perseverance the race marked out for us" (Hebrews 12:1).
RUNNING with PERSEVERANCE~
Steadfastness
Staying Powering
even
when the stumbling blocks before you appear to be so cumbersome.
To SIMPLY fix your eyes
beyond the difficulty
beyond the delay
beyond the whatever you are waiting to happen or not to happen.
Fixing our eyes off of the difficulty and
"fixing our eyes on JESUS, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.
For the joy set before HIM, HE endured the cross, scorning its shame,
and sat down at the right hand of the throne of GOD" (Hebrews 12:2)
Get out your sneakers. Tie each one tight.
And SIMPLY start RUNNING~
"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?
Run in such a way as to get the prize.
Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.
They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever" (I Corinthians 9:24-25)
RUNNING never felt so good.
Ready. Set. Go.
