Day 35: Suddenly

SUDDENLY it happens.

You didn’t plan it

because it wasn't even a thought in your head.

But it happens SUDDENLY!

I just heard about a friend

who GOD brought home

SUDDENLY.

GOD knew,

but his wife and his son did not know.

SUDDENLY

here

and

then

SUDDENLY with the LORD.

Oh the "SUDDENLIES" of life

hit us all.

They come in all shapes and sizes.

The good and the not so good.

Home with the

LORD

is a good thing

for the one who is now in his real HOME,

yet not so good for those who are left behind

to go through the GRIEVING process.

Are you GRIEVING?

Is it GRIEVING a loss of a someone or a something

Is it GRIEVING a wish I had but I don't have?

Is it GRIEVING a promise that hasn't come into fruition?

Is it GRIEVING a _____________?

As no one is exempt from GRIEVING.

And with GRIEVING

you will MAKE TEARS.

"I MADE TEARS"

are the words spoken from

the mouth of our precious grandson

after his first day of pre-school,

as he was missing his mommy & daddy

TO MAKE TEARS~

the release of your heart cries

of what you are deeply feeling in the moment.

TO MAKE TEARS~

To feel the pain, the anguish, the sorrow & grief

and just let it flow.

For JESUS MADE TEARS~

"JESUS WEPT" (John 11:35).

Yup.

The shortest verse in the bible,

yet so powerful

because

THE ONE

who is our strength in the midst of our weakness

feels our weakness

because

JESUS MADE TEARS.

HIS heart bled with GRIEF,

after speaking with

the GRIEVING sisters,

Mary and Martha,

of Lazarus

who had died.

“JESUS WEPT”

and

JESUS WEPT again on the cross~

JESUS cried out with a loud voice, saying,

“Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “MY GOD MY GOD ,

why have YOU forsaken ME?(Matthew 27:46)

And JESUS WEPT tears of blood~

"And being in agony, HE prayed more earnestly.

Then HIS sweat became like great drops of blood

falling down to the ground" (Luke 22:44)

JESUS WEPT

because HE knew GRIEF~

"HE was despised and rejected—

a man of sorrows,

acquainted with deepest grief ..." (Isaiah 53:3).

JESUS WEEPS with you

and for you

because

HE

understands you

and

because HE feels you,

for that is why

JESUS came to earth,

to REDEEM all that is GRIEVED

so that there will be no more TEARS~

"HE will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away” (Revelation 21:4).

What if today you

FASTED

from GRIEVING alone,

by staying yoked to

THE ONE

who

WEPT

so HE could carry

ALL

your hurts,

ALL your pain,

ALL your sorrows,

ALL your "SUDDENLIES"

so that HE WILL SUDDENLY

fill you with HIS PEACE that transcends all understanding

because

JESUS not only understands your

GRIEF

but

"HE UNDERSTANDS YOUR TEARS"

(listen to the song below)
