Tick. Tick. Tick.
2021 is coming to an end.
But when the clock strikes 12:00 am
does it have the power to CHANGE you?
JANUARY
the transitional month~
The NEW Year.
The NEW Beginning.
The NEW Chances.
The
LIFE IS GOING TO BE DIFFERENT
Month.
Then the days tick by
as the remnants of Christmas are packaged away
& then nothing has really CHANGED, except the weather
as it gets colder and warmer, as it can't make up its mind.
The diet and the exercise becomes a roller coaster ride.
The I will never do this again & I will never do that again,
never seems to happen.
JANUARY
will then spill into
February
& excitement will build
as the 40th day before Easter will arrive
bringing hope
because
things will CHANGE & things will be different
once Easter arrives.
But
does the day ever arrive
when things really CHANGE
when things are really different,
when you really live as one who is different?
Is it about a day, month or time of year
or is it about right now~
this moment
no matter what time of year of it is?
Can you & I
not look upon the seasons or a date on the calendar for things to CHANGE?
Can we just be
DIFFERENTLY CHANGED
right where we are~
whether our toes are in snow boots or barefoot in the sand~
just knowing that
HE is in the snow
HE is in the sand
HE is where you are
and that will never CHANGE,
because JESUS IS THE SAME
but HE will CHANGE you.
JESUS
isn't just a month
JESUS
isn't just a season
JESUS
isn't just a Sunday
because
JESUS IS.
HE makes NEW~
DIFFERENTLY CHANGED.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:
The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17)
So do you want to begin
JANUARY
as one who is
DIFFERENTLY CHANGED
even though
the people, places & things around you
are still the same.
Are you waiting for
_________ to CHANGE
or for
___________ to be the answer
or once __________ happens then
you can really enjoy your life?
But what if
REAL CHANGE is only possible
when you depend on
THE SAME~
THE SAME GOD & THE SAME JESUS~
" Fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen,
since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal" (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)
What could this do in this moment that you are living in right now?
If it is a great moment then it can be a greater moment.
If it isn't a great moment then it can be a greater moment.
Just what if we all took a breath and looked up
into the eyes of the
ONE
who has so much for each one of us
in every
NEW moment
making ever moment
a greater moment
because
JESUS is MORE THAN A RESOLUTION.
