What are you WAITING to happen
that is all that you can think about,
that is robbing you of your moments
UNTIL
you get what you want when you want it?
It may be something that you are
praying for that
you know that
GOD
is asking you to pray about.
It may be
PEACE.
It may be
FORGIVENESS.
It may be
JOY.
You know that
IN HIM
these are yours
right at this moment,
yet you are waiting for
that something to happen first
before you can live & embrace all that
GOD
has for you
IN HIM
because you are waiting for your
"UNTIL"
to happen first.
Hmm..
I have many
"UNTILS"
that become all consuming
when they are what I am fixating my time & energy on,
leaving no room for what
GOD
has for me right now in this very MOMENT.
DO YOU HAVE AN "UNTIL" THAT IS ROBBING YOU OF HIS JOY? What if we
FASTED
from our
"UNTILS"
and instead where to
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, & faithful in prayer” (Romans 12:12),
just because you & I
are allowed to enjoy all the fruit that is ours
IN JESUS!
Just picture it as you sit back and enjoy the ride,
even though it may feel uncomfortable
or be a wee bit bumpy
as you are waiting for your
UNTIL
to happen or to unhappen.
But what if
the WAITING is the answer because
GOD
is doing something so dynamic in the WAIT?
Isaiah 64:8 tells us that
GOD is the POTTER & we are the clay,
the work of HIS hands.
I picture myself on the Potter’s wheel
&
GOD has just made me a cup.
I like being a cup,
but then I
I feel like I get smashed
as
HE
starts forming me into something else.
When I fight the process, it hurts.
I have to laugh now, even when it does hurt,
because it is just part of
GOD'S
refining process.
It is really about
GOD'S plan~
not yours or mine.
It is about GOD'S timeline~
not yours. or mine.
HIS plan looks & feels different than ours,
yet is the right one, so why not trust HIM in the process
since
HE
has an answer for every stumbling block in the process.
You can live today in freedom, even while dealing with the unresolved issues of your life.
So let's
FAST
from fixating on our
UNTILS
by
fixating on
JESUS
in the here & now
and
"KEEP ON HOPING" (listen to the song below)
because
JESUS IS NOW
& not
UNTIL.
