Day 31: Jesus Isn't Finished With You
WHAT IF
"IT IS FINISHED"
really means that
IT IS FINISHED!
Does that mean you stop
LIVING
or is ti when you start
LIVING
like you have never LIVED before.
Oh
those three words,
IT IS FINISHED,
are music to my ears,
so that it even drowns out
the ringing my ears.
JESUS not only said
IT IS FINISHED,
but HE DID IT.
And why?
Because
GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD
that
HE GAVE....
Now stop.
Read that word again.
GAVE.
TO GIVE.
A GIFT.
A GIFT from GOD.
Because of three words,
I LOVE YOU.
What began with three words,
actually began with
IT IS FINISHED.
There is nothing left.
The moment a caterpillar takes
its first flight as a butterfly
IT IS FINISHED,
COMPLETE.
NO turning back.
Its caterpillar days are
FINISHED.
A NEW LIFE that never ends.
From HERE to ETERNITY.
IT IS FINISHED is when REAL LIFE
begins and never ends.
JESUS DID what HE said HE would do,
so we would never have do what HE did.
Because
HIS eyes were FIXED ON THE FINISH LINE~
"Who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before HIM endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of GOD [revealing HIS deity, HIS authority, and the completion of HIS work]"
(Hebrews 12:2 AMP)
JESUS did HIS part just as HE promised.
IT IS FINISHED!
HE said it
HE did it.
Because JESUS can't lie.
The tomb is empty and so am I .
We become LESS so HE becomes MORE.
"He must increase, but I must decrease" (John 3:30)
We GAIN
by PUTTING ON JESUS.
We wear HIM like a glove.
We make JESUS our FINSIH LINE~
"I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward
call of GOD in CHRIST JESUS"
(Philippians 3:14).
Because JESUS always FINISHES what GOD started.
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD
that
HE GAVE JESUS on CHRISTMAS.
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD
that
HE GAVE JESUS on GOOD FRIDAY.
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD
that
HE GAVE JESUS on EASTER.
Oh
JESUS isn't a HOLIDAY.
CHRISTMAS, GOOD FRIDAY, and EASTER aren't days
that have come and gone,
because
JESUS hasn't come and gone.
HE IS HERE
just like HE has always been
HERE for you
because
GOD isn't FINISHED with you,
because
IT IS FINISHED.
Oh REJOICE ALWAYS.
Oh FOLLOW HIM.
Oh GO FORTH and LIVE FOR HIM
and
ARISE
like the morning sun.
For the sun is still here after the moon shows up.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
Because
IT IS FINISHED
but JESUS isn't.
"I’m giving it everything I’ve got. No lazy living for me!
I’m staying alert and in top condition.
I’m not going to get caught napping,
telling everyone else all about it and then missing out myself"
(I Corinthians 9:26-27 MSG)
FROM HERE TO ETERNITY
HE IS HERE,
You are HERE,
Now what.
Therefore,
ARISE
and
LIVE
because
"IT IS FINISHED"
(listen to the song below)
