Day 30: Wait Patiently

The WAITING room is filled.

You arrive early & so does everyone else.

You start the WAIT.

Tick. Tick. Tick.

You are still WAITING

as there is nothing else left for you to do

as time is not in your control

as you are

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF WAIT.

WAIT~

"to stay where one is or delay action until a particular time

or until something else happens." (Google)

BUT

what if GOD'S plan is the

WAIT

because you have no choice but to

WAIT WITH GOD?

Today we remember the

BIGGEST WAIT

as

JESUS is in the tomb.

Quietness fills the land as

their

JESUS,

our

JESUS

is no longer seen.

Questions arise~

If HE is our MESSIAH, where is HE now?

What do you do now?

You WAIT

even though you may feel

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE

with nothing that you can do.

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF WAIT

feels paralyzing

because there is nothing to do,

but to

TRUST GOD

that

HE WILL do what HE said HE WILL do

&

when HE would do it.

But TRUSTING GOD,

at times,

sounds like you are giving up,

when actually you are

GIVING UP

as it is

SURRENDERING

your WILL for HIS WILL.

And oh the beauty of

WAITING

when you are

WAITING with the ONE who said

"after three days HE will rise" (Mark 9:31).

How are you when you are

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF WAIT?

Do you forget what GOD has said?

Do you forgot what JESUS has done?

Do you forget that JESUS is with you always

especially when you are

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF WAIT?

WAITING

for the something to happen that you have

WAITING to happen for

some time.

Tick. Tick. Tick.

Do you FEARFULLY WAIT

that

maybe just maybe IT won't happen.

Tick. Tick. Tick.

Do you ANXIOUSLY WAIT,

for at least you are doing something

by being ANXIOUS

when there is nothing else you can do.

Do you feel "STUCK" IN THE MIDDLE of WAIT?

But

Where is JESUS?

HE is there.

In the tomb

WAITING for GOD'S PERFECT TIMING

when GOD’S power will raise HIM.

JESUS hasn’t gone anywhere where HE wasn’t supposed to go.

HE was just following HIS FATHER'S WILL

so we could follow our FATHER'S WILL

even when we are

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE

because

JESUS did RISE in three days

&

we will RISE above whatever keeps us

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE.

JESUS was

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE

on the cross

in-between two criminals while

HE was

in the MIDDLE OF WAIT

when

a conversation took place~

The criminal looked to JESUS and said,

"JESUS, remember me when YOU come in YOUR kingdom!"

And JESUS responded,

"Truly I say to you, today you shall be with ME in Paradise" (Luke 23:42-43)

I bet the criminal was glad that it was

JESUS who was STUCK IN THE MIDDLE,

because now he would

WAIT

with

PEACE

JOY

&

HOPE,

no longer

STUCK

because

he trusted

THE ONE

in the MIDDLE.

It is in our

TRUSTING GOD

IN THE MIDDLE OF WAIT

when we are able to

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer" (Romans 12:12)

because

it isn’t about what you are WAITING for,

as it is about

experiencing the

PEACE OF GOD

in the midst of

your WAIT.

We have to remain

STUCK to GOD

because that is where we will experience

HIS PEACE

HIS JOY

& HIS LOVE

that covers all the fears and anxiety found

in the WAITING room.

Tick. Tick. Tick.

PATIENTLY WAITING

because

"after three days HE will rise" (Mark 9:31).

HE WILL RISE

in this moment of time

because HE DID RISE

in that moment of time

when the land was quiet,

so very quiet

as the MAN who claimed to be the SAVIOR

was asleep in the tomb.

The same MAN who was

asleep in the boat,

yet was still so awake

after HIS fearful disciples

"woke HIM and said to HIM, 'Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?'” (Mark 4:38).

BUT JESUS is never asleep,

as the moment HE was awake

"HE said to his disciples, 'Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?'(Mark 4:40)

Even on that Saturday when HE was in the tomb.

Even in this moment of time if you are

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF WAIT.

Oh what are the cries of your heart in your WAIT?

Let's continue to look to

THE ONE

Who patiently WAITED

three days in the tomb

so that

HE would RISE

in

GOD'S perfect timing

because

HE always does

what HE says HE will do

so we can

"Be joyful always"

as we

"Pray continuously"

and as we

"Give thanks in all circumstances"

for this is GOD'S will for you in CHRIST JESUS (I Thessalonians 5:16-18).

For

SUNDAY always comes

because

JESUS DID RISE

and that my friend is

"AN EASTER HALLELUJAH"

(listen to the song below)
