Day 30: God Appointment

GOD had a PLAN that was IMMEASURABLY MORE

then what my hubby and I could have ever imagined.

For we PLANNED a last minute trip,

that took us to our old stomping grounds,

in a state where we used to live ages ago.

We stayed where we used to take our "kids"

on long walks and bide rides.

As the precious memories just flowed,

warming our hearts,

we didn't realize

that GOD had PLANNED

IMMEASURABLY MORE.

From the moment we met the host who let us into the home we were staying,

I had to tell her that I loved the cross she was wearing.

And then it happened.

She told me she was a BELIEVER

and from that moment on the floodgates opened.

She invited us to join her on Sunday at her church.

A woman who I have never met before,

yet who GOD knew I would.

 We got to worship together at her church,

and oh with the tears flowing from our hearts

as to how GOD does do IMMEASURABLY MORE than we could ever imagine.

And then my hubby was talking to the woman who was staying next door to us,

and then I was introduced to her.

She shared that the reason why she was there

was because

she was having a Pastor's wives retreat here that weekend, as it is her ministry.

And then the floodgates opened,

 as we we were praying together over the fence.

IMMEASURABLY MORE!

And then I met her friend who is in ministry with her,

 and she is from the state where my hubby and I went to grad school.

IMMEASURABLY MORE!

Oh the excitement of how creative GOD is.

And then I said hi to the woman who lives in the home on the other side of us.

And it didn't take much for it to be revealed that she is also a LOVER OF JESUS, 

and owns her own Christian publishing company.

IMMEASURABLY MORE!

Coincidence .

No way.

For GOD isn't a coincide.

To place my hubby and I in~between

these woman of great faith.

IMMEASURABLY MORE!

Oh it gets better.

I got to meet the family of the ministry leader.

As I was talking with her daughter~in~law,

she shared how she is pregnant with her third child,

a girl,

 as she has two precious boys.

She said she was due in December.

Well my third, my precious daughter was born in December in this same place.

I told her my daughter's birth date, and then the floodgates opened,

for her daughter is due the same day as my daughter's birthday,

and her mother has the same birthday.

Oh IMMEASURABLY MORE!

And then it rained.

My new sister in Christ neighbor

 was hoping there would be a rainbow.

And yes,

the floodgates opened.

Well GOD didn't give us just a rainbow,

as HE gave us a double one.

Well as she ran over to our home

as I was running over to hers,

 we acted as if the red sea was parted.

Well it was.

IMMEASURABLY MORE!

And then Sunday came.

We went to church with the first women we met,

and as we were leaving this huge church.

 we were greeted by a couple

IMMEASURABLY MORE!

So, as I sit here thinking about

our GOD

who is so detailed oriented,

HE never stops pouring out HIS BLESSINGS in ALL things.

We just have to BE STILL to experience them.

I don't want to miss what GOD has for me,

as to why I don't want to carry

BITTERNESS,

ANGER,

FEAR,

ANXIETY,

and 

__________,

for when I do I will be so distracted by myself that I would miss

the CROSS around someone's neck,

or the neighbor who is hosting a women's retreat,

or the neighbor who loves GOD so that she publishes GOD stories,

or the STILLNESS of each breath I take

as I sit here

thanking GOD for

HIS IMMEASURABLY MORE!

And a big P.S., well actually 2 more.

I was given a gift by the woman next door,

for GOD put it on her heart to give it to me.

A sweatshirt from her daughter's clothing business,

that was created out of her LOVE of GOD,

with a precious gold butterfly pinned by the collar!

And if you know me you know my love of butterflies,

the symbol of our being a NEW CREATION IN CHRIST.

And before before the two ministry leaders were leaving,

we met on our front porch

and shared our

IMMEASURABLY MORES.

And as the words of Joshua 1:9 came pouring out of one of the woman,

 the verse that was spoken about at the retreat,

another red sea parting,

as that is "my" verse

that spurred on the writing of my book

 "The Brave Little Turtle"!

For GOD'S IMMEASURABLY MORE is right in front of you.

And if you look close enough

you will SEE that you

are HIS IMMEASURABLY MORE!

Therefore,

STOP,

LOOK,

and

LISTEN.

For this is just beginning, for there is no end in JESUS.

For HE IS YOUR IMMEASURABLY MORE

and

you don't want to miss HIM!

So let's

BE GOD EXPECTANT

as we close out

 APRIL

and welcome a new month tomorrow morning,

and

 journey together

through our

MAY

 31 DAY DEVOTIONAL SERIES,

"BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED"

so that we experience

 HIS

IMMEASURABLY MORE:
